Thanks so much man! Yeah I’m digging the effect on my video editing app for sure…that pin is my oldest personal item…it used to hold up my diapers as a baby! It’s followed me through life, mostly as a big Ol punk rock pin and a joint poker lol. It used to have a baby blue plastic safety cover so I didn’t stab my little baby fingers lol. Bat Country is remarkably well put together and the fella who does it is extremely eloquent and well spoken. Interesting dude for sure.

Hmmm…I get them online from the easttop company and they are much cheaper…I’m in Canada and a new special 20 (or any decent Hohner harp…I’m a Marine Band Guy my self) costs about $140.00 after taxes. Easttop harps cost me $40 usually. I dunno how much Hohner harps cost in the UK but here they are $$…when I started playing around 1980, I could get 3 Hohner’s for $25 about…times have changed! @tedbelmont I understand…they are all in the same price range where you are, but where I am it’s radically different. Same in the USA. If I was in your position I’d buy nothing but Marine Bands myself, but I gotta say, I really do love these Easttop harps…it’s all up to the player and what feels comfortable and playable. But yeah man…harmonica playing is like that…you like Special 20s I like Marine Bands and 008ks…all the crowd hears is harmonica 🙂I’d be dead impressed if someone said “I loved the tune you played on the easttop, but man…when you pulled out the Special 20 you really started to cook!”…it’s always “I liked/didn’t like the harmonica part.” Anyhow Ted, this is interesting stuff! Play what your heart desires!😀😎👍💯💙

It is! It’s not a fender tho…Beckett buys random guitar parts and stuff and builds amazing stuff out of it. I believe that it was painted pink overtop of a blue/grey finish, and then that was painted some other color. He sanded all that off and was about to take off the pink, but decided he liked it…some spots the blue/grey shines thru and looks pretty cool 🙂👍

I’m waiting for the day we hat Rae on drums…she’s one of the top ranked drummers in school for her age group in all of Ontario her teacher told me (her teacher was very active in the union theatre and is a really good old friend of mine…it’s weird when the people who I got wasted with in my 20’s doing outsider theatre with are now teaching my children lol). I have big plans for the Lizard 🦎!!!

Oh my…the sleepwalking was the scariest part of my detox as I lived alone and would wake up in strange places, knowing i went to bed on my mattress…i could have walked into a moving car or something like that. I don’t think I’ve done it since then. Thanks for saying i look healthy! I rarely get told that! And yeah, i figure I’ve won the booze battle as long as I don’t drink any lol…de-alcoholized beer/drinks used to kinda be awful, but here in Ontario…home of the craft brewery, brewers are making really good 0%beer now which is great …i drink Sober Carpenter ale now, and 0% Guinness which was my favorite beer type drink…the 0% tastes and goes down exactly like the real thing 🙂. It’s nice to order a beer when I’m at the bar, or when I’m playing a show 😀 I was drinking far too much soda pop😂 Cheers Paul!
