Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines, August 2023
From August 18-21 2023, we stayed in Moalboal at the Pescadores suites. We dove with 'Love's Beach & Dive Resort' at the Talisay Wall, Panagsama Reef and Dolphin house. We also snorkeled at Panagsama beach with the sardines and turtles and we kayaked and I crashed the drone...

Dear Anytime Fitness Burgos Circle, BGC, Taguig, Philippines I understand that it has been a hard time for gyms across the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore I don't expect the gym to be in pristine condition. Nonetheless, as we members still pay a handsome price for our membership, we expect proper and working gym equipment... P.S. Replace the batteries in the smoke detectors,...

Must plug from usb port other then the wall to work , the battery requires a lower voltage. Example can plug from portable chargers , lab tops , computers , car chargers , game system with usb etc
In my case, I had the faulty battery replaced by DJI and the problem has not occurred anymore.
Erg grappige video, heb ervan genoten 😅
Hi I have an " old M8 " that I cleaned with a wet swap - all dust marks gone but a bit of a smear mark on sensor! - camera shop where I bought camera 14 ++ years ago said they will clean it free - so will be bringing camera to them soon ! I think I will make it a habit to only change lenses on camera before setting out and just use camera with one lens at a time ! That is no swapping lenses in the field !! Have a 35-50 and an ancient 135 with goggles ! Get vid thanks !
Thank! Being careful when swapping lenses is a good practice. Most of the smudges after cleaning don't come from dust but tiny oil droplets (probably from the shutter mechanism?) or other liquid 'dirt' from the sensor swab. Enjoy the M8, it's a fun camera.
Thankyou so much it solved the whole problem thanks again ❤
Bro he didnt Do anything😭
They really love dogs' 😁
It is 2023 now, and some things have been fixed, many others have only gotten worse... The local staff is great though.
To test for dirt etc on your sensor. Switch auto iso off, use F22 or as near to F22 as possible, select a plain background grey or white. Take an image of plain background while rotating the camera in a figure of 8 or a circle o . Why? the background will be out of focus, the marks on the sensor will show up in the same place every time you look on your monitor screen not looking at the image on your camera. Repeat until clean. Use swabs once each side, keep dirty swabs for cleaning lens mounts etc. Good luck.

@0:17 😂😂😂😂 I laughed so hard when I saw the condition of the equipment I think the anytime fitness just west of you (near the mall) is a better one?
Uptown mall should be more modern, but this is very close to my house + I have hope they will still fix it + I like the staff… but have been complaining about the equipment since February 2021…
@@bplatel I was considering this gym when I visit in the summer. This video convinced me to look at others. Thanks for the heads up!
So you clean peace of glass and not sensor.Sensor is sitting under two glass plates where stuff as IR filter is on the back side.
You are correct. However, the sensor is inseparable from these two glass layers, therefore most people include them when they say 'sensor'. Similar to the screens of mobile phones. Even though a lot of layers are in front of the actual LCD/OLED panel (glass, touch layer), when you drop it and break the glass it you have to replace the entire screen. Therefore I would not find it false to it as "I broke the screen of my phone" instead of "I broke the first fused glass layer on top of the LCD-panel in my phone". ;-)
@@bplatel You would be surprised to see how easy is to remove sensor cover glass and IR filter once you strip down to the main board and sensor assy. There is also air gap between the cover glass and sensor.Leica has relatively small gap in order to accommodate older lenses and there performance since they are made for film and not for digital sensor.
@@eagleeyephoto8715, as that may be. No repair service would only replace the cover glass for you... <- annoying indeed, but reality afak
@@bplatel Actually they do and charge complete assy.If you ever saw sensor cleaning at Leica service you would decide to clean that plate by yourself.
Gotta love the Leica service, takes months, costs a fortune, and doesn't always help. I remember I had my 50mm 1.4 ASPH for service (CLA) because the focus was too tight. Got it back, focus is still similarly tight (cost me about 230euro, and took 3 months), and the next time I used it a small screw fell out... Luckily I could find it again and tighten it myself... One of the reasons I chose to do this myself...
Should have watched this video before i signed up for a trial pass to that specific branch. 😭 What the hell happened 😭
Desgraça de carregador!, O certo era carregar todas de uma só vez, assim como o carregador do SPARK
i understand the logic behind not wanting to blow the air into the camera. but i would never touch the sensor with any suction device or anything else besides swabs. AND unless i absolutely have to. Just use the blower but have the sensor facing the floor and gently blow air onto it. This resolves 99.99% of the issues. If you have oil or anything of that sort on the sensor then use high quality swabs. I use Invisible Dust. Very good. Also sensors by nature already do have a protective thin layer. No need to sweat ;) Thank you
Thanks for the comment and suggestions. Touching the sensor with the suction device was an accident. But good comment, and I will never do it again. Blowing in it with a blower and having the sensor facing the floor would have saved me a lot of stress...
@@bplatelYou could’ve avoided all this by doing some light research on sensor cleaning techniques. The “blower thingy” has been used by professionals for years.
@@ziggy149, sensor swabs are also used by many professionals, and I have used them with a lot of success before. However, these were apparently overdate. Blowing dust around in the housing of the camera could result in dust particles in unfortunate places. That's why it is recommended not to do that by some... Still would have been safer though 😅
Dont buy dji drone. Go search for their battery problem. All can't charge if you store for some time. What a rip off
Wow, that was a big clean up... That sensor was nasty...
All you need to Do is Take it out for About 3 Seconds then put it back it
Pffiou ! Happy for you that it worked !!
Me too! Works well again!
Same for me. I had to send back one battery brand new and ask for a prompt replacement by DJI. Didn't try to charge in a lower voltage charger anyway. I will the buy a couple of old Mini 1 batteries. They aren't Li-Po. The old ones are Li-Ion and are safer and don't have all these issues.
Same problem! 🤬
I had the same problem today. It disn’t charge in the drone nor in the charger. I connected the usb part in a computer to expect a lower volatge and it fixe the issue. The batterie start charging. So I putted back in the drone and test charging with the power bloc provided by dji. Works fine. Then tried back in the regular charger and it’s charging fine. Hope this will help others. It can also be that the battery was too hot to charge. Searching for a solution took 5 min and the battery may had cooldown. It was hot. 48 deg C in the application.
Yep same here in Ontario Canada. I had to charge all 3 batts in me drone eh!, one at a time I charged them sweet little packs of plastic dam!. I can't wait to fly this wonderful piece of technology
Look at page 25/51 in the uset manual v1.2
Thanks, Nicolas! Page 25 seems to be about the Gimbal and Camera. Do you mean page 24? About what the light means? Led 3 blinking three times would mean "over-voltage charger detected". It continues to say that "If one of the other battery protection mechanisms activate, in order to resume charging, it is necessary to press the button to power off the battery, unplug the charger, and then plug it in again." Not sure if that would have helped. Since the battery charges in the mini itself, and the same thing happened with different USB-C chargers. But thanks for the tip, maybe somebody here who still has the problem can try it out?
@@MSinbeeld I tried everything, having the same issue. Now I returned the battery to Holland centre where I bought the drone (directly from DJI Store). Hope they replace it as soon as possible.
I have the same problem in a new, never use battery from the combo kit. I think it´s the battery cells with different voltage. This one in my case it´s the battery that come inside the drone, not inside the charger. To fix this issue we need to charge the battery a few times to cycle the cells but this is my tip, not sure if it works because my combo kit just arrive today. I only made my first charge on this battery and I immediately notice this problem, then I did a Google search and I found your post. I must add that this battery is full functional and work as expected, but if I am thinking correctly, I hope the cells back to normal after a few chargers or this battery will not live longer and can crash my drone. I will keep a eye this battery cells for sure and if after a 3 or 4 cycle chargers my keep lighting as yours I go send my back to Dji. Anyway this a mistake by Dji send the battery inside and connected to the drone. But the problem can be something completely different, I have mine for just for a few minutes, I am just using my knowledge about battery's and speculating about what problem can be.
Why would you even consider it ... ? Wipes are cheap... Leica expensive....
Same here
Mine does the same blinking. But battery opperates normaly. Before a while i let Mini 2 hovering in my living room for almost 15mins till bttery reached 55% then put it on the hub. it started charging normaly (normal led behaviour) and wheh it was full then the 3rd led started blinking like in the video. Put battery back in the drone and it was 100% fully charged. Weird.... Maybe I'll contact DJI Support on Monday.
Totally weird. Let us know what they say!
@@bplatel today I contacted DJI support in Greece. They told me to do some charging cycles using the drone and not the hub. This should fix the problem. If not then they'll have to check it in person.
@@vagelisfil, let me know if that works. It is still a mystery what solved my problem. The dealer sent my battery and charger to DJI after confirming the issue. Got it back after about a month. They said it just works, no problem. When I got it back it indeed worked... No idea what happened.
@@bplatel this battery has almost never been used before. It has only 1 charging cycle. So i will make it my main battery for the next days to see what happens. I will keep you informed.
@@bplatel well after 4-5 full charging cycles with the battery in the drone (not the hub) it seem that the battery is working fine now. I connected it on the hub and it started charging normally up to 100%.
Did you check the metal charging prongs in your connector for lent or dirt? Or try to put the battery in a different slot. Also, I try not to charge the battery when it's hot, No particular reason but it just makes more sense not to charge it when it's hot.
Yes, same happened in the other charging positions. No lint or dust on the connectors. I think the batteries don’t even charge when hot, there is probably some safety built in. The problem was verified in the store, days after my last flight, so it was not hot anymore.
Same problem here. Looking for a solution. This thing is brand new.
Maybe your outlet or your adapter isn't strong enough. It is a smart charger maybe the voltage isn't right
Ok super weird... I chatted with DJI support about it, they told me I had to return it for repair/replacement. I returned it to the store for warranty (also included the charger). The store verified the problem. They sent it to DJI (I live in Manila, Philippines). After two weeks they got it back. DJI said that there was no problem with the battery and everything worked fine. I have it back now, and for some reason everything is fine. I have no idea if they did anything, they said not... It is working now...
Please change your title to Dji Mini 2 (remove the Mavic), this not Mavic, it´s just Mini 2. This is a useful topic and I come here from Google but there is a mistake mixing it with Mavic. Mavic have 3 cells, it´s a (3s) battery, and Mini only have 2 (2s), it´s a very different battery, different topic, maybe that´s the reason you are having some dislikes because your post is very useful . Thank you.
Did it! Thanks for the tip. The original mini was called 'DJI Mavic mini', seems like the dropped the 'Mavic' on the version 2 :)
The same problem occurred again. I brought the battery back to the store said they should ask DJI to replace it.
I’m having the same problem. Have you founds any solutions? Thanks
Maybe your outlet or your adapter isn't strong enough, it is a smart charger after all maybe the voltage isn't right.
So glad to see it worked out! Would have cried my eyes out in your situation ☺️
When you were blowing dust from the lens right next to the camera, I wanted to scream "noooo":) so happy for you!
Haha, so it was not just me thinking that 😅
Haha didn’t even think about it :)
Hey, wait a minute, I still had the sensor covered with the 'sensor-loupe'... Already couldn't imagine that I would leave the sensor exposed for longer than a second.
useful. can you be more specific. What is the product brand name and what company did you order it from. I'm pleased that it has worked for you. I have an M10 also and I'm in the UK.
Here in the Philippines you can use “Lazada” to order stuff online, mostly from China. I looked everywhere to buy the ones I know, they are from ‘Green Clean’, but they are nowhere here in Asia. Ended up buying a set of ‘Huanor’ HN-P1 Dry+Wet swabs. They luckily are very good quality.
Dat was spannend.
What is the problem ? Mine does the same
Not completely sure yet. The online customer service chat person said it was a faulty battery. I returned it (the single battery and charger) to the store where I bought it, they will probably replace that battery (things move super slowly here in the Philippines).
@@bplatel sad to hear that, mine did it for a couple of minutes and after I inserted the battery in the drone, i checked for the latest battery firmware, it was up to date, then I removed it from the drone and started to act normally. I will contact dji in my country, Romania. Maybe I get a replacement. Thanks for the reply.
@@bplatel good luck with the warranty. In the end mine got damaged and I got a replacement. It said battery damaged in the app.
