Improving a piece using small tactics
Can you help me there is my chess tournament after 1 month i will play 1 time in my life my online rating is 1200 elo how can I play better on OTB can you give me tips sometimes I play closed position in opening
Think on your opponent's time (don't walk around) and that will put pressure on your opponent's clock. Always first think what could be your opponent's idea before you try to implement your own. If you are more cramped than your opponent, go for piece trades.
@@FMMilanJocev is it important to see whole board while playing game or i should see opponent moves and my moves
@@WHAT-gm1xm Whole board has to be seen, always. When you do a lot of puzzles, Puzzle Storms and similar stuff, you get blinded by a particular tactical pattern on, for example 3x3 part of the board, and very often you're not aware of the whole board because you're "guaranteed" that there's a nice tactic.
I like "Play chess, Be happy" thumbnail 😋
Bg4 instead of Bf5 seems more natural for black paired with f6. Pinning the knight and still going for e5
Can you make a video on chess opening mistakes and how to win endgame
About endgames, I was thinking about making several, each one with a separate theme (for example: outside passed pawn, good knight vs bad bishop, shouldering etc.) About openings, maybe I could make videos about generalized mistakes that people make, not mistakes in a concrete variation.
would love if you made a video analyzing shakriyar mamedyarovs 1st round game in which he was about to loose to a 1994 rated
That was an interesting one. Nd5 was a killer 😊I'll make a video about it.
that was one fantastic game
tactical masterclass
I saw this game… loved the finale, very nice
Hey people, I created a new YT channel (Shorts only content): youtube.com/@chcaat I'll start posting on it from tomorrow, 17th September. If you consume only Shorts content, unsubscribe from this channel (but first subscribe to the channel above 😅)
Beautiful
PUSH THE G PAWN. THATS IT
If Black pushes the g-pawn, White delivers checkmate with rook h8 (g5-square is covered by the knight on f3)
But their is mate on g2 with the queen
@@satnarayansharma5800 Knight g5 is check, Black doesn't get a chance to give a checkmate
Why couldn't he just play the knight there to begin with? Why bother with the bishop?
Because the king could get to g8 and attack the knight
what abt queen g8 if they take queen with their own you can take with knight putting king in check too
On queen g8, the king can take that queen
My brain is not braining with chess bro 😫
Take a break from chess for a few days, I guess you're saturated with it.
The pawn!!!
Nice video!!! You are very talented keep making/ having fun with this videos. Really fun🙏🙏🙏. GOD BLESS 💪🙏🙏💪💪💪💪💪
Thank you!
levon must be really scared during this move
This game reminded of his game in last round of Gibraltar several years ago where he sacrificed a piece for no compensation (more famous for Hikaru's facial expressions)
cris cros apple sauce
Why did we sacrifise the knight? Bd3 was already mate without it no?
We sacrificed a knight to remove a pawn from the c-file, from where it could block the Bd3 check
@@FMMilanJocevOHHH RIGHT!! I totally missed that oops
Bishop first then knight also works righr?
It works, though it's not a checkmate in 2 (queen from b6 covers d4)
Beautiful as always
Nd4+, cxd4, bd3#
Ah i thought you weren't giving the answer in the video lol
Nice thanks for showing the lines
I like these videos
bishop d3 alone is mate in 1
The c-pawn will cover the immediate Bd3
@@FMMilanJocev oh ya, me blind
Still i think that bd3 c4 and then knight d4 is mate. Like the same moves as in the video but the other way around. If thats the case then this is a really rare and special mate in two where the move order doesn't matter what ever the opponent does!
@@FMMilanJocevthen knight to d4
@@MonemoFM4 Bd3 c4 Nd4 Qxd4
Bro respawned 💀
dude, maybe when you make a sac one of the piece, gotham chess will scream " AND HE SAC THE ___"" ill be funny :D
Bro you can't start a video like that
It's maybe just a joke
Why?
Knight vs bishop which is better in endgame
Generally speaking, when pawns are on both flanks, bishop is more preferable to knight. If the pawns are only on one flank, it's better to have a knight.
I like how you added *pause the vid* you listed to that guy at one of your shorts! Good loop!
Black queen can take on e6 but White will take back on e6 and take a pawn on c7, and White's material advantage is overwhelming.
why is it not g4?
okay I goy it
Good content! A longer pause to allow ingestion of your question would be great for next time.
Thank you for your feedback, I'll probably make something like a text box with 'PAUSE THE VIDEO' and make a pause to allow the viewer to pause the video on time :)
Thx
Ok
Mmmm Ok👍
nice title 💀
What happens after nh5 then g4? Does black have an obvious follow up that I am missing?
f3-pawn is pinned by the bishop on b7 so Black can take on g4 (rook on h1 hangs)
@@FMMilanJocevbut now there is a escape on g4 for the Queen so like you can play g4 and take on d4
@@LuisEduardo-vj3bo True, black could play gxf3 (threatening ...f3-f2 immediately) instead of playing Bc5
@@FMMilanJocev yeah after Nh3, Bc5 and Qg4 there is f2 and than taking on f2 with check falling the rock
A very good video,Milan we need videos like that in the future
cant u put the dark squared bishop behind the knight so when pawn takes pawn u give a check taking the pawn with a discovered attack on the queen
Queen can take the knight and escape bishop's attack
@@FMMilanJocevtake the knight protected by the bishop on b7? The correct response to Bc5 is actually probably Be3, although it may get complicated after Nxf3 still followed by ng4. Wild position actually
@@MrRichi251 You're right, Be3 would work for White, winning a piece. I forgot about the bishop on b7 😅
@@FMMilanJocev ✌️
Start Bc5, go kxh5, threaten at least to take the knight
I want kh7 to work, but the rook ruins it twice
amazing sequence
The picture distracted me
I'll put it down for the next video
From the camera pov it looks sideways but when you look better it's right, it's funny.
Sorry that I missed it!
Great 👌🏻
