STX BRZ at SASCA RC3 101224 - 2nd in PAX
My 5th run, 46.3. Good to get out there and run the car again after the post nationals break. Could have taken more risk in the transitions, but happy with the run mostly.

My best run - 43.9. Good for 10th in PAX. Was trending toward a 43.6, but I got behind in the back slalom through the box and lost .3. Tires are dead, fresh ones for nats!

My 4th and beat run at SASCA #6, 50.9, good for top PAX. First event after installing a Lugod tuned Giken differential, and it definitely locks the rear of the car down on throttle!

My best run of 71.8, good for 3rd in X and in PAX, and 11th in raw time out of 160 entries. I felt really good about the run until I rewatched it and saw all of the doublesteering, but at least I kept the car placed well for a complete run finally :)

I was working corner 1. Watching you come out of that left hander, just knew it was a special run. Perfectly balanced, just on the verge of oversteer, hitting that last cone late to setup for that fast slalom.

That short track looks like a hoot! Was that Intermediate or Advanced Group? Didn't seem like many people on track with you guys.
This was Advanced 2nd session. We managed to get two clean laps because some cars were not too good at point bys and packed the rest of the field up a bit.

Any idea how much the time PTM being on cost on run 2.
No, different and less skilled driver on run 2. This was not about PTM behavior, it was about the diff. We all know PTM is a crutch that slows faster drivers down, but I was surprised how well it behaved as long as he didn't shock the rear tires. It is far less intrusive than other cars are.

Intake, header, exhaust, tune, coil overs, bars, wheels, race seats, 2pc rotors, everything that is legal in STU class :)

Ouch that east course was rough. If there is one thing I don't like about the STI. Its the short 2nd gear. lol Anyway, you still did well! Congratulations on placing 2nd in STU!
