I’m glad you watched this! I visited the Normandy beaches in 2020 and always had an interest in WW2 history. Was a goal of mine to create this slide show since my visit and finally found time to learn how to use the movie app in 2020. Watching it is very sobering and can still bring tears to my eyes.

Thank you - it was a labor of love because I sure got bogged down with decorating the exteriors of the buildings. You won’t believe how heavy the buildings become after adding all that stuff on them. Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks - I’m glad you liked it! My neck is ok but just one day of bad posture while working can leave it achy. Hard to break bad habits. Your Good Will finds are killing me!! Admittedly, I don’t go to Good Will often but that’s because it’s usually a big disappointment when I do. Thanks for thinking about me, though 🙂. My dad’s arthritis is really acting up today - which means, maybe that rain will show up for you tomorrow. It was nice seeing people walking around in coats last week! We did a lot of weeding the garden this past weekend. Tons of vines grew all summer and basically strangled the rose bushes and sunflowers. We had planted lots of sunflower seeds and none grew because we let the vines get out of hand. Oh well. The zinnias grew, at least. I always have good intentions with my flower garden, but between my work schedule and terrible summer heat I just don’t tend to it as I should. Hope you enjoy your week and can work on your miniature project.

@@SylvanianWorld Zinnias???!!! Oh how I used to love planting zinnias every year. Such beautiful and vibrant colors, many didn't look real. 😃 Unfortunately come mid August, the leaves would start getting 'powdery mildew' and no matter what I tried, it would destroy the plants pretty quickly. Never tried them again, after leaving NY. I know what you mean about the vines. Those monsters spread out and choke everything they can wrap their little tendrils around. They even grab on tighter than the ivies. Let me know if you ever decide to get a PO box, think of all the Goodwill goodies I could send. 😊

@@randomviking8676 Way delayed response - I just had a very long, miserable 1.5 weeks of work and worked all weekend. Finally have a day off to regain sanity - barely. Now I can start enjoying the tranquil weather. I picked out some vintage books of ghost and creepy stories from my book collection to read for the season. I never matched my reading with the season before, but it is quite fun. Read a 3 page story by Poe last night called the Oval Portrait - it was very Dorian Gray. I also came across a youtube video that had a recipe for hot spiced apple cider, which includes adding orange slices and maple syrup to store bought apple cider. It was quite delicious. And I'm typically not a big apple cider drinker. Maybe we can figure out a stealth way for me to get my address to you (and not the whole world) at some point - if you ever have another Goodwill find that you can't walk away from. Based on the random spam emails I get containing my home address, there are lots of Whatevers out there that have my address, so you are not a worry to me. Stay cozy until next time . . .

Thank you! I don’t plan on using them as Christmas ornaments, but it is cute and maybe others will like the idea. As our collections are so big, so many decisions to make regarding what new critter items we decide not to buy.

This video is a favorite of my boyfriend, and I really enjoy how colorful and other worldly it is. He thinks I should make a sequel from the dragon’s perspective - that the dragon was just flying by, minding his own business, looking over the fairyland to make sure all was safe, and then he sneezed and fire came out of his mouth and the princess misinterpreted him as attacking 🤣. Agree - the futon is a great idea and they got a nice color scheme and overall design going but disappointing execution. Makes me want to make my own with all of my left over confections from last Christmas. And, yes, I think making a hat look like ice cream has been challenging, and only the cone saves the day. Although my mind did not morph it into a squid.🦑 But the squid emoji makes me see your point. I’m sad to hear that the lack of card catalogs makes the library less whimsical for you. Maybe just walking through the stacks and seeing what treasures you can find would be nice 😉📚💫 Hope you have a happy week!

Thank you! I had to look up Shima Enaga as I was not familiar - fun to learn about new things. I can’t imagine anyone really using the critters as key chains, as they would get so worn! I think the chocolate donut car is a good idea for you. I’m tempted to get a tea cup because I have a teabag costume for a baby Critter I had bought once on Etsy. And I have an entire cubicle dedicated to tea! Decisions, decisions. 🙃

Thank you! These room designs are tougher than I anticipated, regarding trying to make everything cohesive. Often, the perfect color wallpaper and perfect color furniture don’t work together because the wall paper may not be suitable for a kitchen, etc. Also a struggle to not make a mess with all the colors, as interior design does not tend to use more than two and definitely not more than 3 dominant colors in most rooms. Your bathroom sounds pretty. 💙💜

Nice to hear you got yourself a work table. Good size! I got into puzzles back in 2020. Did a big vintage circus one. Still have to frame it. Have other puzzle boxes sitting in the closet, though. I treated myself to the $3.99 watermelon on sale at ShopRite. My boyfriend cut it in two and my fridge has a section for tall items, so we stored it like a bowl and covered open part with foil. I don’t have your patience, so when I wanted some I ate it by scooping it out with a spoon. I had to confess to boyfriend later that there was now a crater in our watermelon 😋🙃. So darn sweet that your dog liked watermelon❣️ It’s nice to say “September.” Only gets better for the next few months. I should really push myself to enjoy the outdoors more. I hope you enjoy some cozy twilight time this Fall, perhaps tinkering with your two story cabin at your new work table. Have a great week, dear friend!

@@randomviking8676 I admit that I use my cell a lot but the fact that you don't makes me like you even more. One thing I don't do is read books on a screen. I will not waver - there is nothing like holding a second hand book in your hands and flipping the pages. On your PC, if you are on RUclips and you click on Subscriptions and then click on my channel, when you see my channel there will be choices at top like this: Home Video Shorts Live Playlists Community. You may be able to vote if you click the Community tab, and then you'll see my posts to my subscribers and my most recent post showing 4 choices of color cards.

Thank you, it’s so great to get this feedback from you. I enjoyed the challenge and would like to use more of my craft paper and Sylvanian furniture collection, and this provides a perfect outlet. It’s a fun side project to work on and think about while I do my other projects. The unit house building is a perfect size and I’ve already found a few other ways to use them in combo with other vintage buildings. I wish the modular buildings from the Town Series were larger like these. Thanks for taking the time to watch this video🥰.
