@@martyshaw6911 alll true. On official you might be able to use the bobs tall tales skin triangles with glass, instead of the stone triangles I used at the time. Don’t know if the water tanks will work on official tho, not tested it

It doesn’t because the materials needed will change depending on how level the floor is, and how many circles you build. Best bet is to build two circles to start with, then add more as your tribe gets bigger and more tames

@@BlackBeast2013 well it looked great with btt doors and adobe roofs on scorched, so fingers crossed! I’d say because the steampunk skin is very busy, to only use a little. Roof should be great tho

@@Ell9862 it is, it’s not really supposed to snap to anything as it’s a hack. But if you rotate the spike wall when placing you might get it straight with trial and error. It won’t snap to ‘normally placed’ flat structures tho. It’s an ‘eyeball it’ situation

@cyber-zero0 it starts when placing the spiked wall, but that’s the only way I’ve found to do it, so once I have the fence foundation, I build a line of angled foundations front to back, remove the starter stuff, and eyeball new foundations front to back, flat to the floor. You can get it pretty accurate because you are lining up 2 sets of foundations, in a line, so any errors show up at the other end. If that makes sense

@@hanialhasawi6543 when building the wooden part of the sloped roof, look directly below at the floor foundation. Copy exactly what is below, so a square foundation should have a square sloped roof, a triangular foundation would have a sloped triangular roof etc. this will ONLY work if the roof edge snaps directly onto the wall top, AND you ensure you mirror above exactly what is below foundation-wise

I *think this will work, try it with a small part of the roof rather than the whole area. Do a circle first and see how it works out

I once spent 3 days in evolved trying to build flying buttresses using the tops of dino gates, but it didn’t look good enough and was a right pain to line up. So I was very thankful when railings came up in ascended

@@geroldslade478 Funnily enough I’m just in the testing phase of setting up a BuildersAscended server, and I have a town built on Scorched that I need to film and edit, so there’s content and interactivity coming very soon!

It tends to vary depending on the floor so all builds are different. Roof wise, snapping thru objects is on so they can clip through

Thanks mate! But then I like what you built, nice big open internal space, the workflow thru it, and roof space for birds, it’s a base designed for maximum output but looks really good too!

Well, I’ve been playing Scorched and Center recently, my Scorched builds are nearly ready for recording a showcase, including a revisit to the cathedral, Wild West town, and mega tower (with accompanying railway). Then depending on if ppl want it, I might do a how to on one of those parts. I’m also looking at running a Center server soon, if I have the time to manage it

With a few modifications you could. But the middle part would be difficult because of the roof

@@jonwalker8945 That’s a cracking idea! You could even build a house on top and have all huts and cranes sticking out the sides clinging on for life! Thin vertical pillars in black would look like ropes. Then you just need to tame some dimorphs as parrots lol

@@BuildersAscended already had the perfect dimorphs. Spent 4 weeks breeding them just for colors and had to wipe all my saved data bc ARK…. RIP Fruity Pebbles and your kin.

@@BuildersAscended Well I built the Pineapple Pyramid in single player first and man you weren’t kidding, it’s really not that bad once you get the pattern down. Man flipping it upside down would be crazy but would definitely turn some heads on the server. How would the walls get support without the foundation underneath? I think I could do it but it would definitely take me a hot minute. I’m not quite that creative. Like I don’t even know where to begin to decorate the interior. Also just shooting this idea to you, with Abberration coming out sometime later, do you think it would be possible to do this build on a cliff platform? Or a modified version of it? Heck I’d love to see you do that. Build something similar to this and chain a few of them together and call it “The Hive” lol😂

@@NyteGuardianZ Yea it looks hard because there’s no straight lines that everyone’s used to, but it’s really just a repeating pattern. PLANNING it tho, wow! That took a looot of effort, just getting down how to get that pattern to rotate without being too obvious and keeping the shape, then how to get the top to align properly, etc. Also the foundation profile was a NIGHTMARE With inverted, I would support by foundations on the floor, snapped to the building above. The harder bit is how to get a door into it 🤪
