South Africa vs Japan RWC 2015. Watching in the queens vaults pub in Cardiff just after the paddies beat the Canucks hence all the greenery. Final few minutes when Japan tore up the history book. And everyone (except the Saffas) rejoiced!!

Paul Thorburn kicks the longest ever penalty kick for Wales against Scotland at the Cardiff Arms Park 1986. I believe this kick brought him attention from the NFL. Glad he wasn't persuaded though, he kicked us to 3rd place in the 1st RWC

The tour virgins had to get naked and run around the rugby pitch at Brixham RFC, the quality isnt good, but i just love the laughter

this was the first international I ever went to ... sad with my dad , it's one of my abiding childhood memories - great to see it again !
He used to regularly put monster kicks in for neath week in week out. His kicks would sound like a cannon going off, fantastic full back.

But you got to respect that kick even John Wilkinson said that was a great kick.
I take nothing away from what was a fantastic kick but sometimes it can be easier to kick a 'heavier' ball further as it has more potential energy.
It’s maybe easier to kick further with them, but not more accurately. Also it’s on the ground with no tee

Adi Rubaei The Irish always support the underdog. It's our DNA. We have always been the underdog in our fight for freedom against the English. The South Africans are one of the best rugby teams in the world and the Japanese turned them over through pure heart and determination. No one seen it coming. In Ireland we support the Palestinian and Catalan struggles for freedom.

Balls prior to 2000, seemed heavier, and kicking tees were not in use then. How much further could he have kicked it today.

not sure the modern ball would travel as far, the old leather balls had a bit more weight
