👍👍👍
👍👍👍
Just buy Tamiya
Your voice reminds me of David lynch a little bit
Hong Kong fufu
I loved this, felt like an adventure in ADHD, exactly how my projects go
Dude, thats mutley. Call Andrew Schultz and see if hes willing to buy his best buddy back from you😂
Is this the thing from the „do you know the muffin man?“ sound?
One of the songs it plays is do you know the muffin man; see ruclips.net/user/shortsQiZ3vjaa7kk
Wow I member playing one of them
$56 is crazy
It absolutely disgusts me to know how poor I grew up, but if I could have managed to somehow keep everything I would be rich
Mutley is great❤
I recognized him immediately!
Muttley
Wow awesome Sir! Please tell us about the piano.
I have a separate video about repairing the piano and how it works here: ruclips.net/video/mw3QsPpR7iE/видео.html
thanks for the teardown! i saw another version of this and wondered how the spinning mechanism worked. i guessed it right! it recocks everytime you launch!
Thanks for watching - I love these old mechanical games. It's fun to try to figure out how they worked. Ingenious sometimes.
Awesome bonus find . But did you get the piano to work ?
I did - check out ruclips.net/video/mw3QsPpR7iE/видео.html
muttle. Know for his great laugh. I think it durk dasterly is the owner.
OMG. I had one of those!!
I hope you shoved it inside another toy for safekeeping!
Did you get the piano working?
I did. Check out ruclips.net/user/shortsZ4B4EqRWdoA or a longer video at ruclips.net/video/mw3QsPpR7iE/видео.html
Impressive. I am not familiar with this one. But I'm always glad to see Fisher-Price toys. And man, a testament to how well made they are. And that little Muttly figure stuck in there was a fun surprise.
Fisher-Price is a classic toy company. The Muttly was a very fun and surprising find. Thanks for watching.
@@davidk4145 Yes they are. I still have some of my childhood toys from them. And don't mind adding more when I can.
I had the same pinball machine. I had a blast playing it!!
Wasn't it the best!!!

Lucky!
Oh my gosh, I have to tell you this. I’m now 47. And I had this when I was a child. My late father bought it for me many many many years ago when I was a child. And the image drawing on the side is ingrained in my memory I remember having dreams about those penguins after I play with them as a child. And to this day, I’ve only ever had the image in my head and all of a sudden I clicked and thought let me search for this on RUclips and you have the exact one that I had, thank you so much. It was so great to see this and to hear this but most of all to see the little images on the side and my little friends sliding around it brought back so many good memories of me and my dad. Thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing this warm memory. I am so glad this video could reconnect you with your childhood your dad.
Is this sewing machine for sale.
Sorry - it sold a few years ago for just over $400
I had this as a kid. It seemed to be pretty fancy tech at the time.
For sure - it was crazy hi-tech for the olden days. That's why we believed it when they said it was a "computer" truck!
When I was a little kid, I had a dream that I was playing with a Speak & Spell and the Erase key actually said "Erase." That key is totally silent on the 1978 machine, but when they came out with Super Speak & Spell, the Erase key makes a swallowing sound.
Back in 1978, a computer was limited to having 64K of memory (64,000 bytes). In the 21st century, you can easily have 64 Gig (64 billion bytes) on a very small chip. That is why the speech had to be compressed and sounds so robotic. Now, you can take someone's voice and sample it accurately. The Basic Fun replica of the Speak & Spell has very clear speech done with modern sampling techniques and plenty of memory, although they ran the speech through digital effects to give it that retro robotic sound for the sake of nostalgia. The deal with the module is that when you press Module Select, the machine is "bank-switching" the memory so that it will draw words from the module instead of the built-in memory chip.
"they ran the speech through digital effects to give it that retro robotic sound for the sake of nostalgia" = funny
I suspect that the apostrophe key only beeps and does not say "apostrophe" because all the speech had to be coded by hand, since there was no way to automatically "sample" it, where a sampling machine would convert the audio into data. It was probably difficult for them to code that word in particular, so they didn't do it, and the response on that key was left as a beep. The modern Speak & Spell does say "apostrophe," but it has a volume button that beeps like that.
I had a Speak & Spell, but never got any modules. My cousin had one with a module. I think it was one about verbs, because I remember it having the words "edit" and "edited." I find it interesting to learn about what the ET module does, because I remember seeing the commercial about it but never used the machine with that module. It's interesting how the module frequently uses the functionality of having supplemental information with a word, such as "Spell 'save' as in 'save the frogs <croak>.'" It's like a teacher giving a spelling test where she will include a sentence with each word. The built-in word list has a few words with additional information, such as "Spell 'yolk' as in 'egg.'" That way, you know it's not "yoke."
They definitely put some thought into it.
I had a game similar to this but with tokens. As you turned the circles the tokens would change place and could fall lower so we coud play over them. I cant find it eany where.... i loved that game. This one looks like good alternative. Thanks for sharing!
Any chance you are talking about the game Downfall by 'Golden'? I can't find a video of it and never played it myself but here is someone selling it on eBay www.ebay.com/itm/275842161367
How old is that?
The original is from 1969 but they made a later version around 2010
thanks - helped a lot !!!
I had a Sears Giant Crane. It was awesome. The amount of control you had allowed a lot of movement to build things. I played with mine for years. One of the best toys I ever had.
Thanks for watching and thanks for subscribing.
OH HELL YEAH! This was my big present one Christmas. The one thing I said I wanted. I played with this for years. Even as a young teen, I was using it to build not only the included buildings, but also using it with Legos, dominoes, and green army men (and Hot Wheels) to make racing/destruction layouts. This still has a place deep in my 62 year old heart. Subscribed based on this ultimate toy.
Loved your message. I am well past 50 and I loved this and so wish I had had this as kid. I'm not surprised you had so much fun with it.
Is that c or d size batteries?
@@southtexasguide8114 I don’t have it anymore but I believe D size batteries.

Maravilla!! saludos.

Are these for sale?
The only jersey left is the Canadiens jersey www.ebay.com/itm/295803378329. If you're interested make an offer for $20 and I will accept it. I kept the Sabres jersey!
That would be dope if it was rewired to plug into an outlet.
for sure
Oh my gosh $50 is so much but that looks super cool
Actually I only paid $15... which makes it a bit better (I guess)
I’m having problem with mine where the spools aren’t running. But everything else seems to work. Would I be right to assume is a belt issue ?
If you hear the motor running but nothing is turning is seems likely a belt has gone bad. I have never done a belt repair so unfortunately I can not help.
@@davidk4145 thanks ! I’ve done some on Walkmans so I’m thinking it won’t be too far off
@@davidk4145 Actually my Light just died out while tinkering. Any advice on replacing or Jerryrigging one ?
I just found a picture of me on Christmas morning when I was like 4 or 5. My Talking Whiz Kid box next to me. I remember Follow me was my absolute favorite ❤❤
That's awesome - what's better than Christmas when you were a kid.
nice
I feel like you could be Hank & John Greens long lost cousin or something lol
I didn't know who the Greens were but I checked them out and I do see the resemblance! I'm going to tell them I'm their cousin and ask for some money.
I’ve just posted the same radio on my page - any idea what year/years they were made?
I'm not sure but I would guess the 1980's
How come there more penguins?
Not sure - they were just in the box when I bought it at a thrift store.
Gotta love finding stuff like that. Especially from a team that's no more. Very cool find!
Agreed! I miss the Oilers!
You have my grandpas hifi set up from the 80s/90s.😂lol now all you need is a 200 disc CD changer and a big screen TV.
Ooooh... 200 disc CD changer. That would be sweet!
