Thank you Pastor for this much needed discussion for a Believer. I'm 63 and a Believer that is trying to do my best on this journey and sort out my faith. All too often, seasoned Believers tell you just to have faith or avoid you when one pose a question you're striving to understand be it items in the Bible and/or a life's event. Result...wasted yes sitting in church just going through the "Christian" outward motions but turmoil within.

Thank you for the convicting message Josh, and thanks to Josue and team for the beautiful music. “The blessing” in particular was wonderful to sing with the congregation today! Loved it. ❤

At exactly 1:00:00: “If you are never experiencing any sense of loss, any since of difficulty because you are following Jesus… Let me humbly ask you: …Do people know that you are a Christian?” This was the hardest hitting section of the sermon for me. Thanks for a very thoughtful and engaging message Pastor Josh. (This and the follow up are worth a clip-out w/ subtitles IMO).

You folks may have no idea just how much difference you may have made in any one or every one of those childrens lives - even if in only one or two, and surely there were more - they will never forget the things you did there. I'll bet that if you return year after year, the numbers of children will increase greatly. Our church (Colonial Hills Baptist, Southaven, MS) goes to Appalachia as well and there has been wonderful participation - and reception on their parts where we go. God bless you all.
