Severance - Petey's Death
**FLASHING LIGHTS CONTENT WARNING**
severance, season 1 episode 3, second to final scene. clip ripped from the Blu-ray disk
FYI: i cut out a bunch of scenes of mark walking out of the building, right after he exits the elevator and walks off screen. great atmosphere when you're watching the show but not for a yt clip.
if you see black bars i didn't add them, youtube did; severance is shot in 2.39:1 aspect ratio and youtube adds bars if your screen isn't ultrawide. if you're on mobile try pulling the video down gradually and you'll see them disappearing! you can also get an extension for your browser that makes the bars disappear
uploading for my "friend". petey is her pookie...

The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart - Ads, Promos and Newsbreaks (1999)

i got this idea from @Paweł G. and i thought i'd make this in an afternoon. it's a good portion of ads for the daily show that aired throughout the first year stewart was host. i tried grouping them again as chronologically as i could it's very interesting to compare the kilborn ads with the first year of promos for stewart. i think the show truly started to change after the republican debate t...
Jon Stewart on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (2004)

broadcast on september 20th, 2004. this barely qualifies as interesting, i just uploaded it because it's nowhere on the internet. btw jay leno REALLY sucks as an interviewer, WOW fun fact: this aired under a month before stewart’s crossfire appearance and just a week before it was announced conan o'brien would be taking over the tonight show, in an NBC press release on sep 27th 2004 (jay leno &...

broadcast on october 19th 2004. i had no idea tucker carlson talked about this on camera so this was a treat. also he really doesn't look good in a bowtie now that i look more closely. you know that quote, 'when you wear a bow tie, doors open for you'? he looks like someone slammed the door in his face crossfire was not cancelled at the time of this airing; that happened later in january 2005. ...

this is long thought lost footage of john lennon and yoko ono’s visit to athens, greece in november 1969. clip acquired from a greek tv show in 2019 where the original cameraman showed clips of it. the full clip is 2:43 with no sound, it probably resides with whoever bought the original tape and is gatekeeping it now. this is as much as it was shown on the greek show apparently they also appear...

some of the many ads I could find for the daily show with craig kilborn. i miss that little freak i tried grouping the ads as chronologically accurately as i could, eg. the new logo is after mid 1998 (thank you logopedia i love youuuu) also i know it was technically just called the daily show and the “with host name” moniker was added after kilborn, but i named it like that in the title so it’s...

Piano Theme to ‘World's Greatest’ (Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart)

starting around 50 episodes into js' tenure, after the final cut to commercial, before the moment of zen there would be a silly little segment of a trophy awarded to jon stewart saying stuff like 'world's greatest fisherman' or sth goofy. there was a very distinct piano theme of the main tune playing that wasn't used anywhere else. don't ask me how i found it lol if you're readin this you a ner...

Craig Kilborn interviews Jon Stewart on the Daily Show (1998)
First time i saw it i cried so hard. My brother named was Michael. He owned a restaurant. He was struggling with drugs and alcohol. He killed himself. My sister in law found him in the bathroom. So watching this scene was like the hardest thing it was like reliving the nigtmare of the day everything changed.
Jon Bernthal is in this show for about 15 minutes total and still manages to have the most screen presence of probably any member of the cast. Dudes criminally underrated.
You think this is something? you think this is bad? this this chicanery? He's done worse. That pie. Are you telling me that a man just happens to squat down like that?? NO! HE ORCHESTRATED IT. JIMMY!
doing this as soon as I get home.
lol imagine watching this scene without context
oh he was definitely seeing innie mark his best friend in his final moments huh :(
They are goddamn obnoxious together but wow. That Ceres story flashback is also the happiest and healthiest I'd ever seen Carmy.
you can tell from these promos that the first year, it was just craig's show with Jon just saying what craig's writers were already doing for 3 years, everything changed with Indecision 2000.
Whats the song in the background? I know its not After Dark
Where can i watch this series?
@@skinny_bruh_shorts if you’ve got Hulu it’s on there. Otherwise you can sail the high seas 🏴☠️
How did he die?
suicide. if carmy’s dream from season 1 is to be taken at face value, he shot himself on a bridge
He shot himself
0:27 my god. That one little 5 second moment from Richie is some of the best acting I have ever seen. Just wow.
This part hit like a rock.
Wow! When Jon Stewart started doing The Daily Show, he was doing what Craig Kilborn was doing. Then, he became 100% political, and the whole game changed.
That's an awesome quote.
I feel like I shouldn't be watching this
Just a filler: some more newsbreaks and "coming up" promos from that period: April 14: ruclips.net/video/qbrVsAy8dzE/видео.html June 17: ruclips.net/video/dc9R17XFalw/видео.html (pardon the vhs timecode at the top) June 23: ruclips.net/video/AtukzkVNYGg/видео.html
@@P15GsWWTBAM ty for the add-ons!! I would pin this but paramount striked me down and I lost advanced features 🥲keep em coming if you find more!
Jesus Christ, Jon Bernthal is an amazing actor.
Maybe a compilation of promos when Jon Stewart was host? (talking about his first year specifically, 1999.)
i really liked that idea! here you go: ruclips.net/video/ksRwuB-xQ-g/видео.html
I sat on a pumpkin pie today, by accident. Do not put pies on chairs. That is why i dug up this clip as I inadvertently Squat Cobblered a pie. That was nothing erotic about it but I may have shed a few tears.
Richie kills his character. That actor has my respect.
“Not now, Mace. Lord Tywin and I are speaking.” 🤣
I can't believe that that took place 20 years ago. Jon Stewart received a lot of attention back then.
Jon Stewart was so popular on The Daily Show back in the day that everyone wanted to interview him. Wow!
There's more videos of better call Saul like this? Extra scenes??
how is lee related to the family and why didnt anyone ever beat the fuck out of him before?
He’s dating Donna
@@TessTCulls42069ok makes sense why Mikey hates him. Mikey was in the right.
Jon Stewart was so young. Holy moly. He aged like a president.
Olenna is the only one who can take Tywins hand and lead him down a garden path 😂💪
Seeing Tina cry in her husband’s arms after watching her episode really hits home how much of a bond her and Mikey had.
The sad thing is, there’s also a very real chance Tina’s husband met him too and was extremely grateful for how he helped his wife. Someone who helped his family out in the time of need and now they’re at his funeral
The Daily Show With Craig Kilborn was funny, clever, and witty. It wasn't too political. It was just plain amazing. If it hadn't been for Craig Kilborn, and if he didn't work with Lizz Winstead and Madeleine Smithberg, then The Daily Show wouldn't have existed. More people should watch episodes of The Daily Show With Craig Kilborn. Am I right?
Craig Kilborn was awesome on The Daily Show and on The Late Late Show. Sure, he may not have been perfect behind the scenes, but when he's on camera, he knew what to do. He was never a political guy. He always had fun on the air. He simply left late night TV because he knew that late night TV was about to be too political, and he was right. Still, he was truly one of the last great late night talk show hosts, and late night TV would have been a lot better if there was someone like him on TV right now.
Excellent footage
The saddest part of the flashback. As soon as I saw Natalie crying and Richie constantly ringing Mikey I just knew it was about the latter’s death.
I grew up on Kilborn OG
Phenomenal!
fyi if you’re somehow shocked that trump won after 2 years of the Democratic Party doing absolutely everything they could to hand him the election on a silver platter, this is either your first election or you just haven’t been paying attention. so if you want to point your anger at someone, don’t point it at latinos, black ppl, palestinians or third party voters, threatening to deport them (scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds). point it at the incompetent, lazy party of people who have gotten comfortable for 15 years now with expecting you to settle for whatever they give you. demand a candidate who won’t spend your money pandering to a nonexistent voter, glazing Liz Cheney, siccing Bill Clinton to lecture arabs on why they’re being slaughtered and seriously thinking that will win them the election LOL.
Watching these two trade one liners and mix their schtick is a riot !
I love Craig Kilborn, but this interview showcases how next-level Jon Stewart was (and is). Jon totally commanded the spotlight here.
I feel horrible for Richie. I guess he's the one who found him. No one on the show really checks in with Richie to see how he's doing.
Richie didn’t find him. Michael shot himself on a bridge, Richie was looking for him at Donna’s house.
I have been following Vince Gilligan's productions heavily intrigued for more years than I could remember, all the way back to the X-files. But the moment I laid my eyes on this production, I knew he had hit his golden era in his career. The grand, opening of this production was slow, highly anticipated, but awkward. As the production slowly progresses, he gets more and more awkward starting to titillate senses to a level the titilator couldn't even titillate. Then, the big shock, the big reveal. He sits down slowly, staring into the camera with intense emotion, squishing the pie between his buttocks, spreading it out into the cushions with such meticulous passion. He then proceeds to wiggle into it, paying even greater attention to the mystifying, poorly understood physcology of Mr. Wormald. He then proceeds to sync up his tears with mine through the screen, his of pure clouded mystery but yet a confused joy, and mine of admiration for the masterful cinema my eyes laid upon. He breaks down into a full storm in the final act, wrapping up the production in an elegantly, masterfully planned llne of acting not once seen by humans before. This will go down in cinema history, leaving a dent on future directing styles forever. Bravo Vince.
Tywin is so used to being the smartest person in any given room that I think part of him truly enjoys being surprised by anyone else’s wit. We saw that with Arya at Harrenhal. Here, he’s irritated that Olenna is right, but that irritation is at war with a grudging admiration for her verbal sparring prowess.
Love Richie's body language in the first scene.
Just realized your pfp is a picture I made
@@Abelprojectvapor oh fuck yeah dude
Tywin was in on it
If they actually worked together they could conquer the world
It's not a easy thing to earn respect from Tywin. Tywin respects Olenna. 0:54 These two >>>> Tyrion, little finger, varys or any other smartest character in the got series.
Timestamps and OST names if you fw that (no chapters in the vid sorry, I got a copystrike and lost advanced features lol, so you gotta click on each time stamp manually) 00:00 andante risoluto 01:13 end title theme (piano and cello variation) 02:03 impromptu no 2 for piano and orchestra 03:11 andante agitato (fbi raid OST) 04:16 scherzo in f minor (and about 40s of the main theme, but transposed to Fm. This snippet doesn’t appear anywhere on the soundtrack but sounds most similar to the last 40s of Tuscany Suite for Piano and Bass, transposed to Fm) 05:22 andante con moto 07:15 strings con fuoco
wow.. so long ago...
The only two S Tier characters in the show. Machiavellian powerhouses through and through.
I feel so bad for Richie. He was so close to Mike. It seems like no one really checks in with him on how he's doing after such a loss
And we didn’t catch on until she dies and chats with Jamie in the end. She knew Tywin and the Lannisters were broke bitches and had no money. Hence why she kept hinting and throwing shade at him.
