This was and still is my dream guitar. I got a Slime green Charvel last year as it’s the closest thing to Steve’s ‘Green Meanie’ he had in the 80’s. Would dearly love one of those Jems.
This is one of the ones he signed in '87 after the guitar debuted at the NAMM show. It's really amazing.

The man created one of the greatest Italo disco tracks ever! Dolce Vita is an absolute work of genius and it is impossible to feel sad when it is playing. Love that track. I would love to see videos of Ryan in the studio making his music. Italians made some great electronic music and Italian synthesizers are beautiful; some of my favorites are: Siel Cruise, Elka Synthex, Siel Orchestra, Farfisa Polychrome and Farfisa Orchestra and Crumar Bit 01/99 and I also love Italian food....I should have been born in Italy instead of the UK lol.

I got #408. Amazing guitar, got it in 1990. It's a bit banged up and worn. It's basically a family heirloom now. I've had better guitars, but nothing is quite like this one.

@@dolcevita9531 Quite amazing bit of luck really. I was looking for a new guitar, being a beginner, my friend who was actuallay a great player recommended a Hamer Slammer of all guitars. The sales guy picked up on me liking Vai though and said, hang on, we might have something for you. And then of course I was sold. It cost like 10 times as much as the Hamer . But my friend is still kicking himself 30 years later :)

Most annoying video ever! All the sweeping close-up's are hard on the eyes and often out of focus. The guitar does look fab tho. Almost unplayed. A full shot of the front and back would have been nice

I love it!!! Always wanted a LNG. Ended up finding a wonderful SP that plays like an old friend.. but I always think about the green one that got away... So I'm ordering a 30th, but I don't expect it to have the magic of the initial 87. Yours is superb!!!
