Paddling/Kayaking and Hiking From Pitt to Widgeon Lake
Hiking to Widgeon Lake starts with paddling/kayaking from Pitt Lake to Widgeon Creek Campground. The waters were calm, and the place was peaceful, with wildlife to see along the way. In some portions, the water was so shallow that you had to drag your kayak to keep advancing.
If you don't have a kayak or a paddle, there's a canoe rental company next to the parking lot. Just arrive early as the parking fills out quickly. We arrived there at 7ish and it was almost full. You can still park along the road if there's no spot left.
From the campground to Widgeon Lake is mostly flat. The elevation is gained in the last 2 km. Other than this last and steep section, most of the hike is comfortable w...

hey, happy that you loved it! Rocky Point is a great spot. We went there in spring time so i don't know how the water levels are now, but im sure it will be busy, especially during weekends.

wow, any altitude sickness?
Nope. Nothing noticeable. As you're going to 4000m and go back down the same day, altitude sickness is not a big issue on this hike. But some might feel it starting at 3000m.
You went to essaouira!!! And rode dirt bikes on the sand 😍 everything looks so amazing mashallah such a cool video, very different from the usual mountain hikes but equally stunning 👌 I felt like I was there walking the streets of Morocco and enjoying the peace 😍 keep them coming!
