Do you recommend sanding everything before assembly? Also, does it matter if you paint first and then assemble?

1/2" conduit is too small for my build, and a piece of 1" I had lying around my garage is just a tad too big. Looks like a 7/8" conduit? I can't wait to get going on this thing! The flashlights are a nice touch. I was wondering what those things were. I thought they were flame throwers or something. I think I will use a flashlight to simulate the glowrod and then see if I can get a laser in the other one? IDK, this build offers so many possibilities!

Do you know if there is an easy way for me to acquire just the receiver of Campbells stl? I have been umable to contact him. I'm making an mg 34 from scratch and could use a short cut on the reciever geometry.

There was one piece that you didn’t mention that’s on the table. It looks like a flat mushroom 🍄 piece. What is that for?

The first time I ever saw this blaster was in a comic/action figure 2 pack With Anakin and his legends Right hand clone Alpha the ARC trooper and I've loved it ever since. I will be purchasing a kit soon!!

wow, I've tried a lot of what you did but the way you did it makes sense.. I used a brush and a bigger pool of material even if I spread it out and it went on too thick and caused me issues. I will have to give xtc3d another shot.
