So I added a Celestion V30 8ohms in my dsl40cr and it sounds better. Clearer and the fizzy top end that sounded ‘fake’ before with stock g12 V is gone. Was on a whim and glad I did. Gonna hold onto this amp longer now

Great sounding amp. I have the DSL 100 head and I love it. Probably the best value 100 watt high gain tube head at $1200 Canadian brand new. I have it running through a Mesa 4 X 12 with vintage 30's. I also have a Marshall cab but I find it to be a little harsh sounding compared to the Mesa cab.

I love the electric guitar. I have 3 Marshall DSL40CR amps. Two of them we use for clubs we play in that for some reason haven't accommodated sufficient space for a rock cover band. I think this video is pretty much what I like to hear when expecting to hear an electric guitar. Kinda like the guitars on "Killer" by Alice Cooper. I like a tinny bit more Presence or 5K, but this vid sounds great on my PC speakers.

Thinking about replacing the stock speaker with v30, this video helped me a lot. Thanks.

what do you think of the build of the guitar does it compare to a real Jackson Guitar I know about rare electric guitars but never got one just went with a jackson RR 7 string but all ways wanted a relic RR guitar
