its too bad it doesn't play the sound while programming any volumes for instant feedback.
Thankyou so much from UK i can change my bachmann 47 now thanks again.
Thank you for your clear teaching the adding of CVS now that you helped me its very easy, I am thankful I found your video
👍😜👍🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🇧🇷
Great video. Very well explained. Thanks for posting this.
Hello RRBob, how are you? A great video. I have a question. When I program the decoders with sound I have no problems. When I take them to the track, and I look for the locomotive with the control, when I activate it I can activate the functions but it takes a long time to start running. Sometimes I have to move her to do it. Is this normal or should I modify a CV? Thank you very much.
Can you use a basic Ethernet cord for connecting the unit to the computer? Can you change the sound the bells and horns make? The type of bells and such?
Thanks for the tips, very useful
Could use your help
I sure could use this on my layout, but didn’t have any luck. What relay, and sketch did you use
Thank you for your video. Very clear and not too quick. I was able to complete my task following your tutorial. Thanks
I like your elevator idea. Beats a helix in my opinion.
And thank you for this one also.
I will always have this to remember my most exciting times in Model Railroading kind Sir. Truly kept me in the hobby.
Wow! Great video! This system is way more user friendly than the Lenz DCC system I have been using. Thanks for posting.
Good channel. You deserve more subscribers! I think you should search for smzeus . c o m!! It’s a handy tool to have when you’re trying to grow your social media, RUclips videos, website etc!!!
Just found your channel and am enjoying your videos. Considering moving down there in a few years and love to bike so your videos have been very useful. Thanks and take care.
I can save cvs from my loksound5 in my class37 loco, but jmri wont load them back in to the decoder.
At the beginning of this Video I keep calling this area Bradley; That is incorrect I am in The Village of Bradford. I guess I can not Bike, Video and Talk at the same time.
Is this how you change the volume on a dcc decker or is it how to change what type of sound your engine makes
Can you use the same method to adjust accessory decoders as you do for mobile decoders, or is there a different process for accessory decoder CV programming?
Thanks for a really clear explanation.
Great explanation
Excellent tutorial! Step x step and note for note. I just think that the bell should be loud as much as 8..If you ever visited a rail yard and listened to the locomotives, you'd notice that the bell is rather loud. I believe this is for "awareness safety purposes" It would be great if there was a way we could convert both horn and bell sound to a proper scale level.
So it is possible to program on the main and not have to be concerned about the other locomotives being programmed to the specific other... How come then the rule of thumb states that it Is always best to do any configuration on a program track and isolate the program from the Main (and vice versa) in order to accomplish any personal CV changes, etc.. When if one chooses to program on the main the Power Cab specifies or offers the choice of locomotive (road #) a or one has the option to choose what ever loco # that is to be programmed? Seems to be a built in "safety option" in the power cab in order to "fool proof" the system.
Brilliantly clear explanation, thank you
Sounds (and looks) like a pretty strait forward program. IS this also available for a Mac OS?
Awesome video!! Definitely deserves a thumbs up!!
Good video but I still don't know what CV stands for.
Configuration variable
Greetings from Wales! Thank you for a clear and concise explanation of this process which enabled me to synchronise the correct number of exhaust beats to each wheel revolution.
Very nicely done layout with a lot of planning and foresight. Congratulations on achieving a pike with flexibility and purpose!
Great video! one of the best, Can you make one, how to speed mach, in order to have a consist? thanks
Thanks for such a clear and simple video on programming. Unfortunately there’s an abundance of vids that are very poorly shot and it’s hard to read the lcd screen. I liked and subbed
Wow..awesome love the layout.. darn near the same as my bedroom shelf layout... thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.. Lance
Thank you sir .
Needless to say, a great time was had by all?
I thought it was more complicated than that. Thanks.
OK great video, this just sold me on the NCE Power Cab.........
Thanks for making the difficult seem easy.
I thought you are supposed to change CV settings using "programming on the main"?
AWESOME!!! this is something i would like to do do you have track plans thanks
As a beginner, I am always grateful when operators like you take the time to slowing walk me through the processes. The JMRI system looks really complicated but after this video, I am far more likely to try it for myself. Now about connecting the computer to the track.....
Very 👍
Great explanation. I'm an old guy and till now I couldn't figure that out. Got it now. THANKS
Moxie Man My
Great photography as usual, Bob of your Salisbury "steak"-out ;-)
I went here. really cool.
What CV values would you recommend for a decent beginning, middle and top voltage? I see that you recommend "2" for start voltage, would voltage would you recommend for middle and top voltage?
Thank you for your post !
The best vídeo!
You should not use this,JRMI is exellent,But you have to install JAVA.As everybody knows that java is a major problem.etc etc.
