It is upsetting to hear about your uncle. I understand it is a difficult key in your life especially if you're struggling with life which you cant help. But the most I can do is: tell you to be brave; face the world's challenges. I'm not saying everything is going to be perfect because life isnt that easy but it will slowly get better. I really hope the best for you and hope you have a good future. Please, stay safe. Personally, I struggle to say no a lot. But, it is really unhealthy to constantly say yes and it may he better to change your view and sometimes say no. Not to the point you have stopped caring but just so you can look after yourself. Think of yourself first. Also, I am glad to hear that you understand that you should never compare yourself to others mainly because there is always someone better than someone else and the problem with most people, they assume just because they are not perfect means they should not be confident. So I am glad to hear you are changing your perspective. Hello friend, we suffer from many of the same symptoms. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. I have learned by watching a video on RUclips Dolores Cannon between death and life. She was an amazing woman that has taught me so much about the truth. She says that Earth is a school, we agree to reincarnate on this Earth to learn and experience. To break our contract and commit suicide will only result to be forced to come back and do it all over again. Where allowed to repeat a grade But Not Skip It. Knowing that and watching more of her videos has helped me tremendously with my thoughts and depression. The only medication I consume is marijuana given to us by our creator. Hoping this advice will help you as well. Take care

I feel for you my brother. I've been blind since I was born and I have periodic bouts of depression and sadness, it's just part of being different in our society. Blindness is not the end of the world, and I know that may be hard for you to hear but there are still lots of things to be enjoyed in the world other than sight. I know that being told you are going to go blind, going to die, all that shit is very scary and distressing for you, and I don't blame you for feeling that way. At this point you have two choices. You can either focus on the parts of your life that are shitty, which is very easy to do. On the other hand you can focus on the things in your life that make you happy, the good things that you can appreciate. You sound like a very kind and intelligent person to me, you have an incredible honesty and frankness about ouow you are feeling and I deeply respect you for that. My advice to you is to enjoy what you have now, and try to appreciate this moment. No one knows what tomorrow is going to bring. Focus on the moment, appreciate your vision while you still have it, and if you can prepare yourself for the time that you may lose your sight, do that. You will be a lot happier if you already have skills that you can use if you do go blind, rather than waiting until you are blind. Blind people are not helpless, and you will still be able to do most of the things that you desire to do, just in a different way. I travel through cities on my own with Gps, I memorize the layout of the grocery stores and use my phone to take pictures of the things I don't know about; there are apps like Google Goggles which will identify anything you can imagine. You will still be able to live independently, so don't fear that part of it. We are all lucky in our own way and in order to realize that we have to be grateful to the universe. That's the only way to feel better about a situation like your own and mine, along with doing things you enjoy. You will be okay my friend, but you have to keep your head up. Feeling sad is easier than being happy, and you're going to have bad days; that's everybody regardless if they are blind, in a wheelchair, deaf, whatever. What helps me sometimes is knowing that there are tons and tons of people out there who have it so much worse than you and how they would do anything to have what you do. And how they would kill to be you, just like you and I would kill to be somebody else.
