If you had told me 20 years ago that I would be involved in a guitar company working closely with a legendary band like the Yellowjackets, I would have thought you were crazy! We are incredibly grateful to the Yellowjackets for their hospitality during their week-long residency at Birdland NYC this past week. For David and me, this event is always a pilgrimage, as we've been fans from the very beginning-43 years and counting!

This is an absolutely fantastic piece of solo work. His listening for space and breadth is making the groove move and flow perfectly. Attention to that highhat is very noticeable!! The pocket is nice and comfy!! It all works and it’s making his voice shine as it should!! Fantastic solo and it moves the body. That’s how to solo.

why it called 'cremona' ? cremona was a czech/slovak guitar factory in 60's-80's (now called 'Strunal'). and there was another one factory in bulgaria that called Kremona with 'K'
It's a reference to Cremona, Italy where the worlds finest classical instruments were made.

Any type of “play along” practice is irreplaceable. I do it as part of my daily practice routine on both electric and acoustic bass. And especially with classical music. It’s helpful on so many levels (bowing, intonation, sight reading, dynamics..etc) Not to mention a great way to familiarize myself with pieces that I’m not familiar with.

The first time I heard Yellowjackets live was in Florida (Fort Lauderdale) in 1984. The first time I heard Dane was in Western Australia (Perth) some years later in a great band named VOID.
I first heard of him after watching him play in Troy Robert's band.
One of my favorite Bass Guitarist's. His playing sounds so complete.
Love the Rocco reference near the end :) Dane's a monster. Anyone know if he's teaching/giving clinics or anything in his copious free time (kidding of course, his schedule is nuts).
