    The Chinese invented gun powder, used against jehangaiz Khan, he took to higher level, conquered half the world 🌎 with this, or killed millions by this new weapon..

    • @ArmchairArchaeology
      @ArmchairArchaeology 4 дня назад

      You're absolutely right! The Chinese were the first to invent gunpowder, and they initially used it for fireworks and rudimentary weapons. When the Mongols, led by Genghis Khan and later his successors, encountered gunpowder, they adapted its use for warfare on a much larger scale. The Mongols were masters of incorporating new technologies into their military strategies, which helped them build one of the largest empires in history. However, their conquests were already vast before the widespread use of gunpowder. It's fascinating to see how a single invention like this could have such a massive impact on both warfare and the world! 🌍 Thanks for sharing your insight!

      Ricardo, I understand your concern about the image used and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. The history of slavery is incredibly painful, and we strive to be sensitive to how we portray it. Our intention was not to perpetuate harmful stereotypes. The image was chosen to represent the harsh reality of forced labor and confinement, not to make a statement about the race of those enslaved. You are absolutely correct that slavery is not inherently about color. It has existed across cultures and throughout history. However, it's crucial to acknowledge the specific and horrific way race was weaponized during the transatlantic slave trade, leading to the enslavement of millions of Africans and leaving a lasting legacy of racism. We are always learning and open to feedback. If you have suggestions for more appropriate imagery or resources related to slavery history, please share them. Our goal is to educate responsibly and respectfully.

    Its because snowball earth, the global glaciation ground the rocks to dust around the globe leaving no record for the timeline ..aka 'the great unconformity'

    • @ArmchairArchaeology
      @ArmchairArchaeology Месяц назад

      That's a great question! You're right to point out the Snowball Earth hypothesis, as it's one proposed explanation for the Great Unconformity. It's a fascinating idea, right? Imagine Earth completely covered in ice! The Snowball Earth theory suggests that during certain periods, Earth experienced near-total glaciation. This would have resulted in massive erosion, grinding down existing rock formations, possibly explaining the significant gap in the geological record we see at the Great Unconformity. However, it's important to remember that the Snowball Earth theory is still debated among scientists. There are other explanations for the Great Unconformity, such as tectonic activity, erosion from changing climates, or simply a lack of deposition during certain periods. The Great Unconformity is a truly remarkable geological feature. It represents a missing chapter in the geological record, and scientists are still working to understand its full significance. Regardless of the exact cause, it's a powerful reminder of the vast and complex history of our planet. What are your thoughts on the different explanations for the Great Unconformity? Let's discuss it in the comments below!

      @@ArmchairArchaeology One of the problems with the "Cambrian explosion" in my mind was the assumption that there was an actual explosion of life and not just a lack of the necessary conditions present to preserve fossils in sedimentation, the snowball earth theory does answer this question. Or at least offer up some reason why the necessary parameters for sedimentation were lacking. It's hard to imagine what conditions were suddenly 'present' for such an explosion of life to happen, without a counter scenario like glaciation. It's also difficult to imagine that a lack of deposition and sedimentation were a possible cause without glaciation given the ongoing history of sedimentation and deposition as a core principles in earth's geological timeline The numerous anomalous 'drop stones' found in out of place geological strata are probably the most convincing evidence of a snowball earth. It really poses a bigger question ...'if life were largely present during snowball earth ...'what type of organisms were they and what niches did they fill'... It's a fascinating idea and one we might never have answers for.

    • @ArmchairArchaeology
      @ArmchairArchaeology Месяц назад

      That's a fantastic observation! You've hit upon a very intriguing aspect of both the Cambrian explosion and the Snowball Earth hypothesis. It's true that the Cambrian explosion isn't necessarily an actual "explosion" of life, but rather a sudden appearance of diverse, fossilizable organisms in the geological record. This could be due to a number of factors, including: Improved preservation conditions: As you point out, the lack of suitable sedimentation and deposition before the Cambrian could have prevented earlier life from being fossilized. Evolutionary innovations: The Cambrian period saw the evolution of hard body parts (like shells and skeletons) that fossilized more readily, making them visible in the fossil record. Rapid diversification: The evolution of new ecological niches and niches could have spurred rapid diversification of life forms. The Snowball Earth theory, as you've suggested, offers a fascinating explanation for why the geological record might be relatively sparse before the Cambrian. If Earth was largely covered in ice, it could have significantly altered sedimentation patterns, and also created unique environmental pressures that may have driven evolutionary change. Your final point about life during the Snowball Earth is a real head-scratcher. It's a tantalizing mystery! What kind of organisms could survive such extreme conditions? What niches might they have filled? We may never have concrete answers, but it's a fascinating area of research. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's always exciting to see viewers engage with these complex and thought-provoking ideas. Let's keep the conversation going!

    6.26 The very touchstone of Islamic foundation is 'Laillahaillallah' which literally translate as there is No GOD but ALLAH. There is no such thing as 'The Supreme God' in Islam because by sentence it means admitting there are weaker 'Gods' alongside HIM, nauzubillah. We Muslims do not associate partners or anything to ALLAH as that would befall into the biggest sin unpardonable in Islam known as 'Syirik'. The attribute 'Creator' and 'Sustainer' are correct, and they are among known 99 attributes teaches In Islamic religion. When use the term 'Creator' there also 'Created Creation', so when one say Heaven, Rain and Fertility, i humbly ask that you used the term 'affiliate' as opposed to 'associate' because the later would suggest no different between Creator and Created Creation in definition and status. Alhamdulillah, indeed when it comes matter about ALLAH, we Muslims don't take it lightly and must be very careful about it. 2. Also it would be great if you can include the paganism practices of Arabs pre-Islam arrival, which is to burry newborn baby girl alive, as the birth would bring shame to the family as opposed to a baby boy. However despite their dislike in a newborn baby girl, it is fair to also note their like to indulge in matters related to mature women, as they would oftenly regarded as the symbol of public property, present, dancers, etcs. with no right whatsoever been given to them pre-Islam arrival, among many others.

      Thank you for watching the video with so close attention. It is important to highlight that the video is about the pre-Islamic period and we made a point of trying not to involve issues about good x evil in it. It is also clear that in less than 20 minutes, it is difficult to cover all the existing themes in such a complex subject. Anyway, your comments are very pertinent and I hope to see you in the next videos.

    You mean physical building temple because beleivers are the Temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells with in them when they are born again.no they wont go underarch as it depicts pagan religious affiliation worship of false "gods"and not worshipping God in way they should.you can see in Old testament when Moses lead people out of egypt and Joshua leads them into the promised land.

    Where is the bit about how because judaism lost a war 2000 years ago, some think they can do unto others as was "done" to them. Actually, where's the bit about how this story has been co-opted by some greedy racists, who use the jewish religion as a righteous shield when they aren't even jewish faithful. How about how the Palestinians, as the Jewish once were, are still living there, never left, just diversified religiously. How those same Palestinians today are going to achieve what was not achieved way back then, because time, and injustice, have made them stronger.
