Y'all reviewing a movie but missed a lot. Every detail isn't meant to be explained, it's symbolism. The venom as the antidote is the parallel to Eve in the garden where the snake leads to the knowledge of good and evil. There was no venom in the vape. The serum causes short-term memory loss, it's erasing the newly created memories, so when he hit the vape, he forgot the night. In forgetting the night, it would make sense if people are dead, the women remember, hence why he charged at Frida, slipped and hit his head.

You have probably never been trafficked or abused so it’s understandable but the movie came with a Trigger Warning for A reason I tho k this is why Zoe kept the story telling minimal

Going to have to agree and somewhat disagree here. Overall, great episode, well done fellas! Firstly, when Manny said this film needs to be considered for an OSCAR I thought he had slipped in to some kind of Joker-esque delusion. Was he serious?? Granted, some of the cinematography was pretty good but, by and large Phillips was just recycling what worked in the first (SOOOOOO many staircase scenes!!!!) and the rest was an attempt at style over substance because substance this film ain't got! The opening act, I thought everyone had gone a bit mad. I couldn't really understand why so much hate surrounded this film and then........ Tone - A Mess Pacing - A Mess Script - A Mess Any director that manages to simultaneously make Brendan Gleeson totally insignificant while completely underutilising Gaga's vocals should be in court themselves! Also - Why so much emphasis on smoking?

Hiii how r u???? Let me tell u something about my favorite movie.... Sardar udham... 2021...one of the best historical movie of my life.... A movie which will change ur perception about India.... Indians.... N british... A movie which shows the true reality of imperialism... Brutality... Racism... And most imp. Brotherhood..... U r going to remember this movie for very very very long time..... A slow burn but heart wrenching movie... If u love historical movie... Then go for it.... This movie shows history always has two sides... It depends which side we are.... Good luck..

This movie was good in that it challenges the Cinderella fantasy that some women have of highly praised and celebrated men. Instead of ending on a depressing note, it highlights how even if you are a victim, you can fight to take back your power. This movie isn't supposed to directly reflect the reality of these situations, but rather the takeaway message is that these things happen. There are men (and women) who abuse their wealth, fame, and power. Overal 7/10.

Appreciate your review guys! I personally loved this movie, I had no idea what it would be about when watching (I watched it 🍃 which probably played into why it hit me so hard😂). There is definitely room for criticism but for Zoe’s directorial debut, she really started strong; from the casting, visuals, music. Hope she stays on this darker thriller genre *Also with the ending, Frida didn’t give him the snake venom, she gave him the perfume liquid to make him forget. He basically lost his short term memory which is why he started bugging out

This movie was absurd. No person in their right mind would continuously make those kinds of dumb decisions. Especially when the safety of their child is at stake. The father gave "coward" a whole new meaning. He was so spineless it was cringey. James McAvoy carried the entire film. No one needed or asked for this. Great Review in advance. Take Care ...

Age of ultron is a great movie and I even thought that at the time. The Easter eggs, the development of characters and just as a standalone film it works really well. They even have that v funny scene where everyone tries to lift Thor’s hammer.

The ending wasn’t satisfying not just because we don’t get to see any violence enacted toward Tatum’s character, but because he gets to have his memory erased of being a monster. He doesn’t have to remember any of what he did to who knows how many women, but we know the 2 surviving women will remember it. I hate that we don’t know what happened to Adria Arjona’s character after and that we don’t even see her leave, she just disappears like a ghost (Which Zoe could have leaned into to add more to the unease/disturbing aspect of the situation but didn’t). The movie doesn’t do a good job at building the suspense within the characters in the first act, we as the audience are just supposed to accept it under the premise of going to an island with a bunch of ppl you don’t know owned by a powerful man. One of you pointed out the scene where Slater calls out the young boy for not doing anything (the nerve of the psychopath to be the one to say that is really rage-inducing) and then the movie draws no parallels to the staff who also witness these things and do nothing. And then I agree with the lack of follow through with the red chair, the polaraoids, and the gifts of perfume were all incredibly frustrating.

I'm was kinda lowkey baffled but little confused that why the older lady ( called Naomi 'red rabbit') till the third act they show that when I watching the movie and I'm was like 'okay now it's make sense' why the nasty lipgross, the red rabbit nails, and the long hair she used to have (because remember Freda was animal-nail artist.) Also, I'm do like the women k*lling almost all the guys in the final third act, especially my girls Freda & Sarah. And here my interpretation for the ending I'm think the reason why Freda saved, and kept Slater as her puppet (even though she married to him) because she wants that power and control back. Plus, if I was a victim go through something terrible, I'm probably will forgive but not forget. Overall, I'm enjoyed the movie and Zoë did her thing on her directorial debut though

He believes that films should reflect the world, not preach a message. But, also, two words you won't hear from any of its characters are “climate change.” “I just wanted to make sure that with the movie, we don't ever feel like (it) is putting forward any message,” director Lee Isaac Chung explained in an interview with CNN. “I just don't feel like films are meant to be message-oriented.” Also, another easter eggs you forgot to mention that Kate wear the white tank top and beige pants like Helen Hunt's character Jo in the original, the actor David Corenswet whose played Scott in the film is a resemble of Cary Elwes's character Jonas in the original film. And the line that Kste says to Javi 'I'm not back' is references to Bill Paxton's character from the first movie too as well. Plus, don't forget other natural disaster films like: San Andreas, Volcano (with Tonmy Lee Jones), Poseidon (1972 & the 2006 remake), The Perfect Storm (with Mark Wahlberg & George Clooney), Dante's Peak (with Pierce Brosnan), Into The Storm, Geostorm, and probably Independence Day (even though it's a alien invasion film). So, overall, I'm enjoyed watching Twisters, especially, my crush Glen Powell aka my tornado cowboy. 🤠🌪🌪😌
