Thank you for this video. Some of the You Tubers such as The Modern Singhs,Urban Guy and few other indians. They show their good wealthy lives in New Zealand. Watching those made me want to visit from UK. But I sensed like all countries there are issues with crime ,/cost of iiving/,homelesness. . But the way its brushed under the carpet by those happy rich youtubers

Previous generations have pulled the carpet out from under the youth. You go to school and the main objective of school is to get the kids to university. The point of uni is to go overseas. The schools look down on blue collar trades and industry would rather import cheap labour than hire apprenices. This leaves the youth with nothing but hopelessness

At my school I won’t discuss the names in this but this year 10 girl was bullied so badly that she un@lived herself. And what’s more horrible was she was bullied by kids from our own school… if you ever think about committing don’t do it. It’s not worth it. You are loved. No matter home much u think u are. Ill be honest here. NZ isnt even that good nature wise. Also regarding crime.... whilst your attackers get no punishment... if you decided to defend yourself you do! Dairy owner who got stabbed also got arrested for using a hockey stick to defend himself. This was after he got stabbed too. That said its not just NZ dealing with two tier govts... OZ, UK, Canada have all gone down this path.... heck even the US is doing this. Not just NZ. Westerners are dumb enough to accept it.

Excellent commentary about New Zealand. The Justice system has been far too lenient and weak for decades, which is why the crime rate per capital is one of the hiring the world. The youth crime is out of control, but the successive Governments do nothing effective to address this issue. Furthermore, Nee Zealand is one of the high tax jurisdictions in the world, but the tax payers receive very little in return. The standard of the Education system is declining to all time lows, and the health care system is collapsing, especially after what Jacinda Adern’s Government did during Covid. New Zealand is rapidly following the footsteps of the US, the UK and Canada down the path of decline.

Easy to buy a house on a large section in 1980 for 3x one person's annual income; Paradise. Now 2024 Impossible to buy a house with two incomes and if you do you're a mortgage slave for next 30 years! ; Blo*ody hell! All countries have good and bad points. I could never return to England and if I did life would be drastically harder and miserable for me, especially the cold Winters. NZ except Auckland has small liveable cities. I like its mountainous terrain with their views and vistas. And of course OZ is close for a holiday. Yes the cost of living though is crazy now.

I'm sorry to hear about all those problems. I also think it has something to do with the weather, gloomy weather just like in the UK. Always heard about the depression adding to the problems. Sounds like the country needs more entrepreneurs and new government. New or stricter laws to protect people. I'm South African from Rhodesia and have seen all sorts of problems growing up and came really close to moving to NZ. I hope NZ and SA can get the balancing right going forward. We have so much to offer, don't we. I'll add your country to my prayer list now. Amein.

The only thing that anybody should listen to what this guy says, is about the cost of living... the economy isnt great atm. All the other stuff mentioned is the same the world over - he prob just hasn't had good luck in NZ. Heaps of good ppl, heaps of bad ppl - just like everywhere else on earth. NZ is a not very wealthy nation pretending it is still 1954! Look up this documentary on Radio NZ. 'Brentry: 48 hours in Luxembourg that changed NZ forever'. For more than a 100 years NZ got wealthy by exporting food and wool to Britain. And now we are in a similar position to 1970 except our biggest trading partner is now China. Let's hope we never annoy China too much because the USA will NEVER give us a good free trade agreement for agricultural products.

NZ radio was destroyed by unfetted consolidation allowing 3 big foreign companies to own all of the commercial radio in NZ. All homogenized networks now. Shame because NZ radio used to be very good
