Просмотров 14 тыс.5 лет назад
Tim Hecker live on NTS, 5 May 2016. Thought this was worth uploading, as there are a handful of unreleased tracks and alternate edits from the Virgins and Love Streams eras. They're gorgeous, so enjoy if you haven't heard them before. Here's the tracklist: 00:00-06:54 / Unreleased track #1 07:17-12:37 / Music of the Air 13:19 -16:11 / Collapse Sonata/Unreleased track #2 16:57-26:02 / Live Room ...
как же часто я под это засыпал, сегодня впервые проснулся, когда играла эта запись. воистину Тим гений своего дела
Cool 🆒😎
Tim should really publish a B-sides and rarities compilation. The Live Room remix with the saxophone going nuts is phenomenal.
It took me a few days to go past the second track
20:20 colin? :0
This is so beautiful that it actually hurts a little listening to it, you suddenly get hit with a feeling similar to nostalgia, a thing you can't quite put into words Thank you for uploading it
I literally just found out this existed and I've been listening to Hecker for three years. Beautiful and captivating stuff!
He's crazy.
I keep coming back to this version of Virginal II / Virginal II Out... Has to be his best work
master of ambient drone....
I've listened to this broadcast several times, usually while working, and every single time at 44:00 I stop what I'm doing and just listen. Not sure if I've ever heard a more beautiful piece of music.
I think I prefer this to the album version
@@trson8613 Same. It's my favorite part of that album and I always want it to keep looping.
@@GMB57 the album version makes more sense in the context of Virgins, but I really like how this version is taken somewhere else so it stands out on its own
@@trson8613 Agreed!
@@GMB57 I've never heard a piece of music that has made me feel this way before.
just discovered this and its beautiful
God, the track at 39:00 is so gorgeous.
anyone know what the track is? or is it simply unreleased heckz?
@@ashermiller10 Probably unreleased or improvisation.
This is so special thank you
I like the audio sample on the first song, reminds me of GY!BE
32:40
I like the guy talking
anyone know what the sample is? it sounds interesting
it's making it so hard for me to concentrate
@@nvjq I'd like to know too. Sounds like a one-man show where the guy on stage describes all his own sensations/actions and what he sees in the audience.

This is beyond incredible
I had to take a step back
Amazing, never heard this before
The saxo at 17:10 sounds like an edited version of "And it fought to scape" from Colin Stetson. (On the same EP Tim is remixing another song from Colin.)
Indeed, though I think Colin Stetson's playing here was recorded during the Virgins sessions. Tim mentioned possibly releasing the track during a Reddit ama...though never happened officially, sadly.
thanks
Thanks for sharing!
Neato, heard this way back. Cool that it's on the tube.
