Agreed, since Hollande/Touraine, I have to work until 66 to have a full pension, even with 62 as the legal age to have the right to retire. If you have studied or if you are part time workers, you already have to work way beyond the former 62.

There’s not enough money in the country to fund all the socialist policies people are demanding. 62 years old was feasible back when there were more young people than old people and old people didn’t live as long. Nowadays, funding that retirement age means taking money from somewhere else. And as for the caricature-esque response of just taxing the rich : France already has the highest tax to GDP ratio among all the OECD countries. We’re the most taxed country in the EU. So what, just raise them only on the rich right? That’s a guarantee that rich people and investors are going to flee, sapping away a huge part of our capital. In France, it’s harder to get a divorce than fire a bad employee. The patronal charges on companies means that paying an employee x euros costs twice that amount. If you have good qualifications and want to make money in France, you’re better off leaving. The result : brain drain. We’re short on money because we don’t have enough economic growth. Who would want to start a company in France?

Sadly, french are the most effective workers of UE. Retirement management was the best and probably one of the only profitable one out of all the budget. Fiscality lol tell me you're francophone without telling me you're francophone The point is that in some countries the age of retirement is higher than 62, regardless of their system, simple as that. The point of comparison is not the system that produces the results but the results themselves, I find it absolutely legitimate to compare them.

Il a eu un moment d'honnêteté après nous avoir jeté dans la gueule du loup avec Maastricht. Too little too late. Avec le recul on voit bien que la catastrophe que redoutait la droite en 81 a eu lieu. Et comme tous les zozos de vingt ans j'ai voté socialiste. Heureusement ça se soigne.

Je demande parce que j’ai des proches (très très proches) qui sont issus de bonne famille, catholiques, sont allés à l’école privée et du jour au lendemain sont devenus des militants LFI. Donc ma question est la suivante : au bout de combien de temps avez-vous eu une révélation qui vous a fait changé de bord politique ? Et une deuxième pour la route : qu’est-ce qui vous a fait changer d’avis ?
