@Motorsportsgeek just curious cause I bought 3.73 to put in my car but I just saw someone installed toms axels and I'm thinking I may already have 3 73 gears

don't go over 200k without adjusting them. The exhaust valves get so tight it eventually fail and cause engine failure. The intake valves tend to be on the loose side, if you are over 100k with no records of valve adjustment, take the valve cover off and use a feeler gauge to check them. It takes some experience because you have to know how the tolerance feels. Also, be sure you are doing it on a cold engine, do not adjust anything if the engine was running, it needs to sit for a few hours before you start adjusting.

@@Motorsportsgeek I would not go that much. I was originally planning on going to 100k with the 2010 CRV with 65k on it. It is throwing P0171 code on and off. I already adjusted the valves our 2000 Accord when I did the timing belt with over 300k on it but we bought that used with 300k on it. I am use to 3k on the old air cooled VW and 15k on the 80s BMW. I was confused by "Check at 30k". Just call it adjust the valves. Now I thinking probably adjusting every 40k-50k with spark plug replacement.

@@MrCuckoobox P0171 on these CRV usually just means a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake system Just take a can of brake cleaner and spray on all the hoses and intake side until the idle changes.

@@Motorsportsgeek Yes, I did that with no luck. I even checked the Brake Booster area too. I visually inspected too.....I replaced the purge valve, the engine light still comes on after several trip cycles after the repair and clearing the codes. I ordered a new Gas Cap and Fuel Pressure sensor - they have not come in yet. I am going to adjust the valves and replace the valve cover gasket in the next couple of days. Wife said the other day it took 3 tries for a cold start another indicator the valves need to be adjusted....... I am just surprised because of the low mileage 65k that it would be need an adjustment.... But, if they need adjusting they need adjusting.

@@MrCuckoobox Don't throw parts at it, you need a scan tool and data log the fuel trims and see exactly what the computer is telling you. The fact you said it was hard to start could be an indication of a weak fuel pump or something in the fuel system. You need a scan tool and check the fuel pressure. If you want to throw money at it, get yourself a 100$ scanner that can read data trims and get an idea how the different charts work. If you see fuel pressures all over the place, you can start looking at that direction, the fuel pressure at idle should be around 50psi, if its in the 30s or below, you have a weak pump. If the fuel pressure is good, check the bank 1 oxygen sensor if its operating correctly. You can also try to make your own smoke tester or buy a cheap one from amazon but if you sprayed brake clean everywhere without idle changing and say it had trouble starting, it may not be a vacuum leak you are dealing with.

It's just loud like this on cold start. From inside you don't hear much difference but at least you get some exhaust noise. Without the x pipe aka stock these cars sound like vacuum cleaners so it's a nice way to give them some tone.

It's all stock other than the resonator delete replaced with x pipe.
