Please post a video explaining and in detail of what the written test is what happpens what they test you on and everything i need to know about the written test
I think it all depends what facility you’re located in. My supervisors are really good and passed everything pretty easily. If you got hard work ethic you can easily do it. If not you’re better off getting another dot job or whatever you like.
@@Lilbdawg12 where you already hired with UPS before applying to the driving position.
Hey, thanks what you put out intergrad school
Thanks for this video brother I start my ingred school tomorrow
7:00
I booked marked important parts. Thank u very much. My intergrad is next week in landover md. Everything is memorized and my driver drill is pretty solid cause I practiced daily.thanks again friend.👊🏿

What are you talking about

UPS is weird. They make the package car drivers go through all this bullshit. When I went to feeder I did a full DOT pretrip and road test. That was it. Took like an hour.
17 on demand pickups is ridiculous. I feel like you were set up for failure from the jump. I'm almost done with my 30 day packet and at most I've had 3 on demands and they were close together. My first week I had between 100-110 stops, but by my second week alone I had 140 to 160 stops including pickups. You have to kiss management's ass, skip breaks, and cut corners (while being safe).
The moment they made me stand somebody would be picking their teeth up off the floor....the railroad does this shit ...fuck these nazis
Aced the fucking test thanks to your videos and advice bud! You are the man, may god bless you and your family as long as you live!❤
Do you live near Orlando? Just wondering how far they make you travel for school. I know it depends on location but I can't find ups school locations on Google anywhere or the ups site.
I'm about about 2.5 hrs from the location other where up to 4
Hey, tell me about the experience you have with Cisco and Walmart as a driver
Wasn't a driver with them, sysco I was a robotics operator then a receiver/ trainer was there for 6 yrs. Walmart I started as a loader then a end runner then basically a lead shipping person and I was there for 3.5 yrs
@fl_atv_riders4455 Thought you died man. I've worked for frito, cheney bros, coca cola, redbull, budweiser, and ups×2. Was looking forward to your experience with Walmart, frito, and syco
Boot camp
Never knew the UPS was a branch of the US Military.
Actually a large portion where military and first responder before.
You can have beards and visible tattoos now 😎 but everything else is still pretty spot on. The 5’s and 10’s are very important to learn and memorize
Are neck tattoos passable now ?
@@yoitskev8533 yes they are, as long as you can do the job and be professional you’re good
@@clichejose5600passed my drivers test today but going to school October 9th thru the 13th. Do you have any tips?
@@hunterboyan5152 study study your 5 and 10’s! Do whatever it takes to memorize them. I used flash cards :) whatever you do, do not hit any curbs while turning the package car. Easier said than done but always use your mirrors while turning. Use your bottom blind spot mirror and you’ll be good to go. The new “diad” aka the scanner came out last August and everything is self explanatory. It’s awesome and so much easier than the one I had to use when I first started. The new scanner is a game changer but I think other than that you’ll be fine. You are going to do a lot of commentary while driving with your instructor so just be prepared and don’t over think it. They were very strict when I went through the class and I almost wanted to give in but I didn’t. I ended up passing at the end and now I’m almost 2 years in. I’ll soon be at top pay and I’m forever grateful. Let me know how it goes or if you need anymore tips!
@@hunterboyan5152hey I’m 19 and wondering your first step to become a driver. Did u work part time and for how long?
All this just to drive a package car? Uniform inspection? Really? This all sounds like military. My dad was a marine
I start Monday. Main think I’m asking. Do you really have to remember word for word 10/5 driving habits
When I went yes things have changed though but I would still be prepared.
A lot of what he's saying from the whole series is facts. If everything you're saying is accurate, seems like you got dealt some pretty sh_tty cards. 17 ODPU for a guy in his 30 still learning the route is bogus. I would have sent a message to ORS and asked what gives with all the ODPU requests. This series was very entertaining and a nice trip down memory lane although unfortunately things didn't work out for you.
Things have made a huge change since I went and the Gainesville hub still has a very high turnover rate
Fuck ups I smoked their driving school. When I was training for the road there were multiple times I got sent home with no pay because of some union fool needed a route.
Bro, y’all make this shit sound like us Marine Corps Boot Camp lol. Easy as fuck.
Since I have made this video things have changed dramatically and some areas are worse than others. From my understanding they have slacked on everything except the driving test.
Hi my name is Miguel I was wondering if you can help me I have some questions about the integrate school. Besides the road test what other test will I take? Just so I can prepare myself
Went to a dealer looking at a base Mule. They jacked the price 70%. My fiancé and I said thanks, no thanks.
I'm hoping starting part-time is an easier way in for me.
You mean seasonal? They have the same steps as a full time driver. Best way to get experience is to be a drivers assistant
@@fl_atv_riders4455 No "Part-TIme casual delivery driver" 5 days/ week 4 to 5 hours per day.
@@nicksrandomness8116 oh they never had anything like that when I was there
My area doesn't seem to be anything like this."This conditional job offer is contingent upon successful completion of the UPS Road Test, Background Check and DOT Medical Exam." No mention of a school at all.
When you go to the school you are 100% hired. After you pass everything you stated they will offer you the position and then send you to driving school
@fl_atv_riders4455 Would there be a chance that I'd lose my job due to a uniform problem etc at school?
@Nick's Randomness things have changed a ton since I went so it's really hard to say. Best way I can explain starting out for ups is your not actually a full blown ups driver until you sign your union contract. So basically your hired with the intent to be fired is how you need to look at it, until you sign the contract.
This sounds like the military....
Can’t wait until I’m 21!
Good to know, thank you!
Super helpful!! Thank you!!
Great video man!!! Thank you!!
Thanks for your videos 👍🏼
This is exactly how it is, you really get pushed to your limits at ups... takes a special kind of perseverance to make it. Its always a make it or break it experience. You also didn't get to experience taking a new route on the blind every day of the week yet 😅
No I did on my second week they flipped me routes 3 different times in a week
@fl_atv_riders4455 ugh thats horrible and so soon. Last test would be peak season for december when your stops go to 350 and you can't see more than a few inches inside your truck. Always fun. While i would agree any starting position has to be the hardest experience in nearly any job that i know of outside of the military, the rewards after all that is not bad. I've been at ups since i was 17 am 34 now in feeders division. Even the training for tractor trailers is nearly non existant...so dangerous, give us 2 weeks to master a tractor trailer from scratch while normaly it should be a few months for most 😅. The tough training while horrible also builds a strong attention to detail and problem solving skills...best thing any new hire can do is constantly ask questions and call supervisor for any little thing you're not sure of. Never lie about a mistake or hide it. Also you can fail but try again after a few months. For those with no education or any real plans for the future ups can be a great and rewarding career. In the end doesn't matter what job one has but what one does with the money they earn. Save, invest into crypto, stocks real estate etc...the goal should be to increase income > increase investments > increase passive income > reach financial freedom > live the life you want to live.
@@PapiLoveCrypto I started in peak season my first day was like 285 packages and my second week was consistently 350 and above my local drive I'm friends with has 450+ days
Ups traning = "throw them into the fire see if they survive "
If I go in with a cdl how can I jump others who may have seniority over me?
The position doesn't require a CDL so no most just let thiers expire. It's a union job
what if your personal vehicle is broke down
They wouldn't hire you in the first place if you don't have reliable transportation.
Don’t like wat u saying
Passed integrad today, my instructor was nice, but yeah, you really need to study your 5s and 10s and be ready to apply them during the driver drill.
Because of the busy season coming up, they are hiring crazy good right now. If you get luck you could get a permanent position. I’ll have to make a video of my experience. I see a lot of negative reviews on UPS school/training. I’ll give my honest opinion from personal experience.
90% of it is location seems like the south east has the hardest areas to pass.
Ok I'm not sure at the hub I applied to but I do an online course for Intergrad or pre Intergrad. Not sure if I training online then the rest at the hub or flying to a school somewhere.
Really just comes down to your location
Also they might try to charge title/registration/paper processing fee on top of what the fees are to pay the county/state.
Thanks 👍
Thank your for these videos. Love the honesty man you rock
Where is the school? Is there a driving school in / near every UPS HUb? District/area?? Anyone know? Just got job offer of casual delivery driver/package delivery driver. Driving the package cars.
Ups here in toronto canada only pays feeders $19 a hr to start and top pay is $36 a hr after 4 years if you actually get hired and not let go before the 3 months probation . I guess ups wants you to starve to death live on the streets . House are close to a million with in a hr drive from their hub . would be nice if they would get with the times
That's more than the US
@@fl_atv_riders4455 that’s for feeder tractor trailer , i thought you guys got more starting out in the states
@@classicxl when I was there it was like 18 and change idk what it is now.
Do I have to buy the uniform or does UPS provide them????
No the ups uniforms are provided they do want you to purchase ups socks and jackets.
So... I've completed my drug test, DOT and physical. I'm scheduled for my road test this Thursday. Although, I haven't heard anything about the 5s and 10s until my aunt just told me. Why didn't UPS tell me????? Now I have 2 days to prepare for a road test that I was told NOTHING about what to expect
After your road test they will call you back for another interview that's when they will tell you when and where you will be got to driving school
Okay. So far I’ve: Applied Did a phone interview And some videos online Do I just to do the dot physical on my own and pay for it or do they give me paperwork? I’m assuming after this I’ll get next steps? Thanks for your help btw I’m in Orlando Florida
