Always enjoy looking at your collection your lucky to have them ! In my opinion we had the best bikes in the 80s And you have some sweet rides !!!
@@gpz7509 Thank you for your kind comments. The 80' was the best time for motor bikes in my opinion too. I too feel lucky to have been able to find and have collected the bikes I do have over the recent years.. Who painted the frame black and why?
Not many notice the black color frame. Good eye. Not sure who painted and why. The bike had been torn down completely and the frame powder coated as I was told when buying her. I bought her just as she is today some three plus years back. Thanks for caring to ask. God's Speed 🏁
I had mine up over 130Mph and it started shaking so I backed off. I was on an safe road that went back to a water factory hence no traffic. What a bike, I pull second gear wheelies and come down like a champ. The first rime I did it was on accident and it surprised me but I figured out how to do it safe and would never stay up too long.

I had a RZ350 with toomy pipes and a cab kit and my friend had the VF500.... He was always behind me............
I could believe it. The RZ350 was designed and made to leading the pack. Many brainless VF500F's and 600R riders fell victim to the RZ350 in cash pay out races back in the day. Wow, great time-travel, and two spectacular examples of the two models. This is a GREAT video. The bikes are beautiful, your voiceover comments are straight from the heart, the staging is fantastic and the background music from the '80s is so nice. You've done this before? Best wishes.
Thank you for your very kind comments and prospective. I have done many off the wall videos with the several motor bikes I share on You Tube. One day I bought one old motor bike and then I bought some more. Just memories I could bring back and share little by little (Once Upon A Time). Thanks Again. God's Speed 🏁
I've ridden both of these back in the day, The ninja would eat the interceptor for lunch, the Honda did handle good tho. It was just slower than I thought it would be.
A fair assessment 👍 Thanks for caring to share 🙂 God's Speed 🏁
@@toriespinoza9134 Anytime, Still nice looking bikes.
I used to call my Ninja the 'heater' because of all the heat it pumped out on your legs. It was quick and smooth as a sewing machine but the 16" front wheel would sometimes to a tank slapper over sudden bumps or RR tracks. It could smoke the Honda with ease. Fun bike overall, I had 2 of them.
You Lived to tell about it. She does get hot and yes she runs smoothly. I must say I have felt the jolt from the front wheel when bumps on the road. And she smoke the lower cc Honda motor bikes. The 80's 600 CBR Huricaine so sorry to say could smoke the 600R Ninja respectfully. Thanks for caring to share 👍 God's Speed 🏁
My buddy had the VF500, another friend had the Ninja. I bought an 87 Hurricane 600 and that was all she wrote lol!

Nice, but turn down your radio . FZ-750 guy, that era.
There is a 1988 Yamaha FZ750 with 13,654 miles on her. They are asking $3,000.00. Check it out on FB Market Place / the bike is in San Marcos, Texas Though I should share 🏁
Back when bikes were beautiful. I actually rode a friend's 500 Interceptor and I thought it was gutless.
Ya the motor bikes back in the 80's in my opinion did have beauty. And I fairly agree that the torque and speed of any motor bike is always open for one's interpretation and prospective. Thank you for your honest felt comment. God's Speed 🏁
Both are excellent examples in crazy nice condition. Those were the days! I can't find any 600s of any year near me (AR) that have not been destroyed and cobbled back together a few times.
Thanks for your kind comments. The 80's were the best of times for me (I was young). You are right about finding these classic motor bikes in nice running condition (almost impossible). I was blessed to have found them but they still do occasionally require up keep to keep them running well. Keep looking for what you want, and one may pop up (600s). Good luck 🍀 God's Speed 🏁
Makes me happy to see them great memories Thank You!!
I do what I can if I can and when I can. God Willing 😇 Happy to make you happy and I too have great memories from back when (1980's) 🇺🇸 God's Speed 🏁
Two cool bikes. Crazy they almost are the same colors
Thanks for your kind comments. These two different motor bikes do share the same color. Back in the day those to two bikes were almost identical to some people. The Honda with her partal fairing and the Kawasaki with her full fairing. I knew people who couldn't tell them apart cause of the color scheme on both back when. But I knew and could tell the difference between the two back when. Those were the best of times for motor bike riding in my opinion (The 1980's). God's Speed 🇺🇸

Nice FZ600! My nephew is just about ready for a bike so we dusted off my '87 FZ600 that has been sitting in my garage for years now and hasn't been run. We checked the tank, and it was dry as a bone with zero rust inside it, so I'm pretty sure it won't take much to get her growling again! I was his age when I bought it used and I've lost my interest in the sport-bikes and have since switched my riding preference over to the cruisers. The FZ600 is scary fast, but a very controllable bike with the dual front and single rear disc brakes. Launches like a rocket, but stops on a dime!
Very nice. Wishing you and your Nephew great moments and memories to be made. Make your 87 ride like yesteryear once more. Hope you may share some of the efforts on You Tube for others to enjoy. Tori, I own a Honda VF500C Magna. Our engines sound very similar. They should as the engine is the same. Your Interceptor has a close-ratio transmission while the Magna has a wide-ratio transmission. Your bike looks in beautiful condition. I like the seating position of the Interceptor more than that of the Magna. As you likely know, the 500 Interceptor / Magna engine is the most powerful 500cc 4-stroke non-turbo production engine ever made. Thank you for your video. Your bike is a beauty. Long live the V4.
