my last boyfriend couldn't handle me having a service dog. he said he was fine with it but he kept moaning about me having to take a dog everywhere. now I'm pregnant with his baby lol but no way I'm getting back with him, he was too judgey and not understanding.

Your service dog is so beautiful. I had a chocolate lab that I self trained as a service dog and I recently had to put him down.

Is boldly designs a shop on Etsy? Do you have any gear of Sammy‘s that you no longer use which you would consider giving away or trading for other gear? I’m on a very tight budget right now and as you mentioned it can be really difficult to find the type of your looking for when trying to figure out customs online and places like it’s an Amazon plus everything being so expensive.

I hate when people try to say psychiatric isn't a legit SD 😭 if it has TASKS it's an SD :) to me an ESA is a pet with housing rights for someone with a Dr's note cuz it's in some way beneficial to them for things like depression or other mental health issues

Congrats!! I’ve been a SD handler for around 7 years now and have learnt a lot from my dogs so don’t be afraid to make mistakes and go at your own pace :)

ESA are only protected in housing and if you live in a highrise type building or a property that has community public rooms or spaces like lobbies laundry rooms community rooms etc ESA under fair housing act are granted same rights as SDs in those places in housing

The beginning of a new team is always filled with so many challenges and exciting moments. It definitely makes all the sense that if he both getting used to walking next to the electric chair at the same time as getting used to being on your right when he’s been on the left that that could be a big transition for him and take a while to understand what you mean. I am not A wheelchair user but I did need to switch my dog from performing one of her tasks only on the left doing so on the right as well that took a while for both of us to get used to.

Hello Rachel just a suggestion I know you said Sammy nolonger does Public ACCESS but you said one of Sammy's tasks are to help with your sweatshirt and you have to train asher that task till asher can do it why can't Sammy be a AT home service dog and fill in at home with your sweatshirt and other tasks you need at home till asher learns them

I am sadly being bullied by having a service dog in training by another service dog handler who isn’t bringing their dog bc of mine they want me to get a special leash that goes around my waist but I can’t do bc I have seizures (my dog doesn’t alert to that she alerts to high hr and responses to anxiety and panic attacks) that they made me have a very bad panic attack

Hey My wife has cp and we suspect arthritis as well. Did you have to push the doctor hard to check for arthritis? We are afraid doctor going to blow her off and send her home with pain meds.
