Triggercam 2.1 first impressions.
Просмотров 1064 месяца назад
I put the Triggercam 2.1 on my CZ 457 LRP 22lr, which has a Bushnell XRS 3 scope. I was impressed with everything right out of the box, and can’t wait to get more time at the range with it. I was able to video this perfect 10/10 on the 6” gong at 300yds, and you really feel the hang time of each shot. The suspense is almost palpable as you wait for each shot to hit the gong. Enjoy!

This is a certified hand cannon. I loved it. These later became the SSP-91 before finally becoming the Lone Eagle after being bought by Magnum Research (think Desert Eagle).
Great balls of fire!!!

Shooting the 50bmg is always fun. It creates the biggest fireball of any firearm I own. I brought it out to the range for a small birthday celebration, and the birthday boy went home with the brass from his first 50bmg experience!
22lr vapor trails

This rare phenomenon started happening just as we finished up a range session. I quickly grabbed video as the shots swept downrange, and I’ve compiled them here. As best I understand this phenomenon, the angle of the light and the perfect humidity gave us this momentary opportunity to actually see the trail of the bullets heading towards the target. This is a CZ 457 LRP, MDT ACC Premier chassis...

Conditions and the angle of the light combined for some spectacular images. This is a CZ 457 LRP shooting RWS R100 at an 8” gong at 300yds. If you look closely you can actually see the twist of the bullet as it begins its journey on the way to the gong.
Long Gong steel testing!! 1/4” AR500 vs 3/16” AR400 vs 1/8” AR500

This is a side by side comparison of three different thicknesses of steel gongs. The sound differences from 1/4” AR500 steel versus 3/16” AR400 versus 1/8” AR500 steel is incredible.

Here’s my latest project, a CZ 457 Long Range Precision 22lr in an MDT ACC Premier chassis, Timney trigger, Vltor Modpod bipod, Area 419 rail and rings, with a Bushnell XRS 2 Elite Tactical 4.5-30x scope. I expect it will shoot as good as it looks.
First shot with the 1870 .577 Snider-Enfield rifle.

This 1870 Snider Enfield rifle was super cool to fire. A black powder round, it really had a very comfortable level of felt recoil. A very early breach loading, metallic cartridge system, but really not far from where we are today. Please check it out and enjoy!

I was absolutely thrilled to add this very icon shotgun to my collection. These are becoming quite sought after, and to be able to share such a rare shotgun with all of you is a real pleasure!

It's jumk. Received mi e November 2023. It's been nothing but problems. Customer service is terrible. Shipped back because hand gaurd kept coming loose and gas block adjustment screw incorrect.
Shipped it back to noreen at my cost and they promptly repaired and shipped back with a broken firing pin! 🙄
Took it to local gun smith for repair. After putting in new firing pin it now as extractor issue. It's been nothing but problem after problem and noreen could care less
As he laughs maniacally.
What bipod are you using?
I had fun!!
My dad got me one of these about 30 years ago. Still have it, still works great. Amazon sells the carbide powder in bulk.
WTF is so funny
2:46 ajajajajajajajaja
Too bad about the laughing
Toys they had years ago
His Laugh !!!!😂😂😂
Open bolt just for a single-shot lol
Bad ass
I just watched a video of you falling head over heels in love with a rifle build 💖
Where is the best place to go squiding in Maine?
Bro, camera is supposed to see down range you doofus
Came for the fire, subscribed for Robs laugh!
This guy is a cross between Francis from stripes and the joker.....he's one of those rooting for the apocalypse ..but the smkw exothermic flamethrower is cool..probably get one myself for brush on the farm
I found a 1901 H&R smooth bore...barrel says 44 caliber...what type of round does it take?...it looks like an old 410.... I'm completely baffled....
Rob's a good guy and supporter of Gun Owners of Maine, our biggest gun rights group. Good to hear Zimba's voice in the back too! :)
Cool! How many dropped to the ground or flew away? When I've been picking by hand, they "see" me coming and drop and / or fly away.
I catch better than 50% of them.
Cool beans!
Rob I noticed on your new cz build you went with the Timney instead of the Jard. I have the Timney now and it’s adjusted down to around 8oz and was thinking about the Jard for bench rest. Is there a reason why you didn’t go with another Jard?
I actually swapped my Jard into the new build, I definitely prefer it over the Timney.
My buddy had one nearly 30 years ago now! Fun little thing! I think we fired .45's out of it also!😂 plenty of 00 buck out of it! I think it's 3 or 4 maybe 5 lead balls! Gives a nice little kick!🤗👍🏼
If you increase the amount of carbide you get a nice bright flash.
Beautiful piece of machinery! Congrats on the purchase, I know it ain't cheap!
His laugh sounds like a 7.3 cold start
Introduced me to the carbide , gallon milk jugs, milk cartons , gas cans, put a fifty five gallon drum bout 20 - 30 foot in the air ! Black soot from a guart coke bottle all over the house ! Miners lamps , bottle lanterns , had an aquarium on the carport put the last bit under it struck a match big poof and black soot blew all over the carport ! Then when I picked it up like five gallons of pure black soot like water poured all over everywhere what a mess ! Like they say kids don't do this at home !
Ahhh, the Cobray
He's going to eat the world😅

Is that Zimba behind the camera?
Yes, we were at Poulins
The keys to the biggest bang from these is to have just the right amount of Bangsite, enough time for the acetylene gas to form and fresh air added after each firing. Great fun and much safer than fireworks.
Call it the giggle box
Love it!
Dude laughing like hes a bad guy robbing a bank in the 1930s
When you buy a machine gun, but you live in CA.
I'm sorry, that's a tom gun. A tommy gun will have the drum mag on lol Still looks great, I just find the magazine super awkward to look at
It’s called a Thompson… delete RUclips bro or stay in your own field 🤣
Select fire is our birth right
That thing needs a drum magazine...
It will have one.
After that laugh I was waiting to hear “Feel Good”
OVERWHELMED with joy 😂😂 Love it
Truth!
I’d rather have an UZI
Nobody gives a fuck
I’d rather have a Mp-40
Nobody asked
Someday I’ll have an Uzi. I figured starting with a Thompson was still a respectable move.
They were made before the 70s.🤣 Who can remember Al Capone?
The Korean War commemorative was not made before the 70’s
These were made specifically for the American Historical Foundation and offered for sale in 1984.
FUCKING LOVE THAT WEAPON.
So will the Bang be louder with a double dose of the mix? Also anyone tried shooting things from the cannon?
I've had mine for over 60 years, more bangsite does NOT equal more bang! When you put way too much in all you get is a big flamey flash but not much sound - just a funny sounding "BLOOP" ! The charger plunger meters out the ideal amount of Bangsite. Gotta blow some fresh air thru it also after every shot.
@@wurlitzer1100 thanks. I am waiting on a spring to try it out
Oh yeah, as far as shooting stuff from the cannon.... When I was a kid we had an apple tree in our back yard. By July 4 - the big day to fire off the cannon - the small unripe apples were just the right size to jamb in the end of the barrel and shoot them across the yard or aim for the side of the garage. Never did any damage. Lots of fun!!!
Enjoyed your show keep em coming
Got a brand new one cant get the ignitor to spark I even out in a new spark . How many turns from close to make it spark ?
I have the 44 and 10 other calipers
Gonna try this. Never fished for squid. I’m hoping Boothbay is a good place to get some. Off Pemaquid point I don’t think will do me any good.
They like to ride the tide in and tend to congregate off piers or docks with lights.
