Thanks for the video Eddie, and your comments. I find the BD5 a little sharp and harsh. I like the softer, "poetic" sound of the BD7. The B40L sounds most like what I am used to. Have you had anything to do with the M30L, and what do you think of it? I hope you're still planning to make more videos. Greetings from Australia!

You sounded pretty similar overall to me on all these, and I have to wonder if any slight variations are just due to you not being fully acclimated to playing all these, if anyone can be fully acclimated to playing multiple different mouthpieces at the same time. If any of these mouthpieces make you work harder to get what you want after you have been able to spend some time with each of them, that would be a strong indication, though there are of course differences between players too. It doesn't surprise me that the BD7 takes more control, since it is more open and longer than the others. Does that mouthpiece have some advantages, however, if the player is willing to put in the extra work to control it? As far as tuning, are you referring to an overall pitch difference, a difference in the scale (spacing between the pitches), or both?

Tchaikovsky had a hard life, but his music seems to brim with joy. Sibelius, whose 1st Symphony finale is a personal fave, was the opposite - a bon vivant who wrote serious music. Thanks for the introductions to pieces new to me. 💙

Hey so I don't usually reply to these sorts of comments, but I just want to be straight up and say that while I'm not a total expert with mic placement etc, I will say that I did not deliberately attempt to alter my voice or playing to favor one interface over another-apologies if it came across that way. I will 100% say based on my experience, the Audiofuse does have more gain than the Audient esp. with the 10 db boost feature. Not trying to shill a product specifically, the Audient is great and people will inevitably prefer it (the price is better too), but that's just what I noticed while making this video.

@@EddieSundraMusic It's just so weird you have the only two units that are in the same market and you have "the" mic that needs the most posible gain needed, you are not a youtuber or a podcaster, why do you need a sm7 for? I know that the audient has less noise ratio than the arturia because I try them both before buying, you don't need to turn the gain so much because in digital -12 db is the limit. The line out sounds better at the end because headroom is very important, otherwise, how do you mix?
