This game is from an era where it was up to the player to learn the controls instead of games adhering to a more homogenized standard. When you're swinging like that, let off the controls, hold R2 again and hold down the attack button instead of tapping it. 2D vs 3D controls wouldn't solve anything in this scenario.

Wait, so you never got to see the Epilogue, then? It's unlocked after you both found the 6 Stanlurines and restarted the game 4 or 5 times.

Not gonna lie, I appreciate seeing a streamer like Yag play the game, as she paid attention to things and managed to see the Freedom ending relatively quick in the < checks time > first hour of play. I mean, I've seen several female streamers play the game, and some of them take an incredibly long time (up to 4+ hours) without seeing the Freedom ending, because they're THAT rebellous/chaotic. No joke, during the Choice ending (the one where you unplug the phone), one female streamer went to the broken right door 5 or so times before checking the left door (leading to the green office boss room). She also managed to get lost while following the Adventure Line, before reaching the fern, and ended back at the start of the line not realizing she was walking in the wrong direction.

I'm so tired of the FOMO instead of playing the game we have to watch you (not just you everybody suffers from it) run around not playing the game. It tired already

me and my GF played through martha is dead, she can handle a lot...she works as a social awareness person...very smart and intuitive but also loves dark stuff. anyway she didn't say much throughout the playthrough of this...just analysed it...then at the end she was like "wow...that was...something..." then she went to go have a stiff drink of beer. IMO Martha is Dead tries to be a LOT of things...starting off with the whoel twin angle is bold...because to write a truly gripping dark story about twins you have to understand the bond and psychiatry of twins...then they had all the death...and abuse...and pregnancy...and switching places...the trauma...it also kind of ruins it's story too early...the whole thing with the grandmother at the beginning was practically a foreshadowing...does it have shock value...absolutely...it has so much shock that RUclips hate it...but i feel it could do with a little subtle touch.

i’ve been trying to play this on my emulator (ps1) with a ps3 controller and the controls are so hard. does anyone else struggle w the controls

The game looks very nice , colorful, though the music is a little hard to hear. If I had game about me, it’d probably be an Beat’em Up like Final Fight or Streets of Rage since that is my favorite genre after scary games 😂.
