New Allies, Old Partners: Sweden, Finland, and the United Kingdom
Sweden, Finland, and the United Kingdom share a long history of partnership, forged through times of crisis and change. With Europe rocked by the largest land war to afflict the continent since the Second World War, and amidst a raft of challenges both old and new, these countries are working together to bolster national and regional security through such fora as the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF). What are the historical underpinnings of these important relationships, and - now that all three states are joined in formal alliance under the aegis of NATO - what are the implications of closer collaboration, both for their peoples and those inhabiting the wider Baltic Sea basin in this peri...

Wow! What a treasure trove of Baltic history! I'm a product of the mixing of Baltic German/Lettish people. My grandfather was born in Riga, my grandmother in Cesis. In1937 my father was an infant when they left Latvia for New York. Officially due to my Grandfather's position as Latvian General Consul. I was told they were specifically fleeing Stalin's "Great Purge". They changed their name from Schiller to Shillers, and there is a theory they were somehow related to Friedrich Schiller. I recently started to delve into my Baltic family history and all I can say is, you just can't make this stuff up! I will definitely look for Mr. Egremont's and Hackmann's work. Liels Paldies!

Gentlemen, thank you... I am not a scholar, I am just a citizen from the States. The borders of what was to become the independent state of Ukraine had been drawn by the Soviets a 100 years previous to include Ukrainians, Russians and other ethnic minorities. In 1991, Ukraine did not fight a war of independence as the US would have you believe, but the emergence of an Independent Ukraine through a hasty and not carefully considered agreement between Russia and Ukraine. This was a windfall that had the potential of making Ukraine one of the great states of Europe but it was not to be.. The naval base at Sevastopol was leased from Ukraine. Crimea with its 75% Russian population, was not essential to the integrity of Ukraine but it was a prime objective for NATO/US because with it went control of the Black Sea... An independent Ukraine presented a strategic opportunity for US/NATO as suggested in Zbigniew Brzeziński 1997 book, "The Grand Chessboard" where he suggests using Ukraine as a battering ram against Russia. This was the plan orchestrated by US/NATO and Ukraine was used as a proxy... After 3 waves of NATO expansion, I hold the minority opinion that Putin did the right thing.

Does the Irish Free state really want this? A united Ireland may bring more baggage than it wants to have to deal with. Look at the U.S. and the trouble Evangelicals cause; the other Protestant denominations are no trouble; but the Evangelicals want to be involved in government and interfere with everything, even though there is supposed to be separation of church and state. A United Ireland would bring the bother of dealing with N.I. Presbyterians; it may be best if they are in their own niche, let the Brits. deal with them.

For some Brits it just seems to be impossible to understand that Finland had to ask and accept help from Germany. Weapons like antitank weapons, aircraft, oil and food. And it's worth mentioning the Kuhlmey group of some 70 planes. The help was absolutely crucial and the logic, as there was no other help to expect, was the old "my enemy's enemy is my friend". It gave Churchill an opportunity to appease Stalin when he then declared war on Finland. The Americans never did such a silly thing. Many Brits have an other old problem in understanding that Germany has always played a very central role in Europe, more so than Britain ever and it's still the case. Finland was lucky and the Germans got much nothing of value in return . This about the Kuhlmey group in Finnish/German. ruclips.net/video/S7yT23EYyME/видео.html In a bloody war like WW2 small countries are pushed around. There was subsequent proof beyond all doubt that this violence was caused by rioters trained, orchestrated and instigated by the CIA to effect regime change, similar to the Xinjiang, Tibet and HK violent rioters! China is just part of the Global Majority and I do not think it has any hegemonic intention. As it is, it is already struggling to take care of its 1.4 billion people. Just like Russia, it is a resource rich and a big country. Therefore, it has no use of territory....

A great man has many critics; but I believe President Xi does not need nor want to be known as the thinker of any ideology ! President Xi is one of the very few great leaders of the world. What he has achieved in a matter of few years of his leadership will live in history of the greatest epoch of mankind. Miss Olivia is another one of those so called democrats and her opinion is bias; if her views pleases those who hate China then enjoy yourself, that will be waters off a duck's back. Chinese in the diaspora have been consistently brain washed, a term I hate to use but in this case it suits the occasion. You un-Chinese should were not born and have no idea how Chinese were treated when China was weak; I am 90 and seen it all from days when homes were lit by kerosene lamps. "It seems to me better to concentrate on what really happens rather than on theories or speculations" --Machiavelli. German President Steinmeier's state visit to Japan on 31st-3rd Nov 2022 concluded a military agreement. Visited Thailand on 24-26 Jan 2024; he invested in a vocational school for making weapons for Germany. To control Southeast Asia, Japan has two-pronged strategies: 1) to build a logistic railway from Bangkok to Chiangmai in preparation for Japan's invasion and to support Japan's stronghold in Myanmar en route to India, where Germany and Japan would meet up. Japan had already put Modi in power; 2) support the Thai Move Forward Party to seize state power to control foreign policy against China and in favor of Japan's invasion. ruclips.net/video/m-2Oy3MVyyA/видео.html

seems more like one sided Leftists Elite Echo chamber talkpoints.no other side representation done . BJP got around 240 seats alone. NDA around 293 THe whole INDI alliance got around 230 which often fight against each other in States. BJP retained most of the Vote share and only lost abount half % around 38% . the less than 1% vote share loss lead to around 60 seats loss. BJP lost mostly in UP and Maharashtra . there were local and internal issues of BJP for sure but also fake narrative/lies peddled by opposition that BJP is gonna change the constitution and remove the reservation. Fake video of Amit SHah stating this change was spread . THe opposition even said that they will provide 1 lakh Rs per year i.e Rs8500 per month who vote for them for free . People were lining up outside Congress office after the election for claiming this. They gave receipts to make it look true. BJP increased its vote share and seats in South Indian states in TN, Kerala. Forming govt in Andhra Pradesh , Orissa . first time got seat in Kerala. About this Hindutva vs Secularism farce one has to understand that secularism in India is different from Europe. It meant that all different religions in India should be treated equally but in practice it was the opposite. Appeasement politics became the norm alongwith fearmongering about the majority . The Shah Bano case in which the Supreme court had given a verdict in favour of her was overturned by the then Congress govt to appease the Muslim clerics and religious leaders. it was consistently done by the congress for their Vote Bank politics. Unite the so called minority and divide the Hindu majority on caste / regional basis . This worked for some time but Hindutva politics changed this. It united the Hindus irrespective of the caste and regional lines and thats why BJP was able to get the simple majority figure of 272 on its own after about 30 years of coalition govts which are weak and cannot do any major reforms or transformation internally nor outside globally. global forces outside dont like this type of strong united govts , they like weak coalition govts which can be manipulated more easily hence keep on harping against Modi and call him dictatoe/fascists whicle they havebeen in bed with the real dictators for long and against India which was the sole stable democracy in this region. Regarding the rebuilding of Ram temple in Ayodhya the facts are conveniently omitted. the mosque was built over a temple which was believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. it was disputed for long around 500 years. even when the coloniser British came they recorded this dispute. THe Sikh leaders had fought against this too . The supreme court appointed ASI even provided evidence of temple existing beneath the mosque. Just google Gyanwapi Masjid and see how Mosques were built over the temple deliberately by the Islamic Invaders to show how their Islamic religion is superior to all other religions. Its recorded by the court historians of the Islamic invaders themselves. All these ugly truths put uner the carpet and just blame the MAJORITY Hindu oppressing the Minoruty Muslims narrative is peddled. The only truly inclusive religion which is Snatan Dharma /Hinduism gives respect to all diverse faiths while the Abrahamic religion just tolerates other faiths. Why dont u people debate about this Supremacist and Exclusivist ideology which believes that only their religion is true / Supreme and all other faiths are false/inferior and wants to establish their faith in the whole world by converting or destroying all those who oppose. Hint: Its the Abrahamic religious ideology not Hindutva.

The theoretical framework of Germany-Japan is based on the “Power Transition” theory; they want war now when the U.S. and China’s capabilities are on par so that both of them can destroy each other well. Without this knowledge, the British and the U.S. pursued the 20th-century balance of power concept, resulting in maximum tensions in all three intrinsic regions from Europe to the Middle East to Asia.
