Round Strathaven 50 Mile Cycle Ride (first half !, Garmin Trouble!)
Driving Miss Daisy 😴
Slow cars
try going flat out every now and then 🥱
This gane looks incredibly realistic! Ohh wait...never mind. 😁
Thanks, yep RaceRender software used to show data from GPS file...

Excellent video and love the on-screen data looks - was it an app that you used?
I've done it five times now and this brings it all back. I generally do two stops though - Hampton and Westcott. I'm now 76, so this year is going to be my last time. Really looking forward to it once again. I missed out last year, but now charged up and ready to rock!
What actually happened at14:01? Was that just braking that caused the spin? Quite surprised how fast it spun out!
More than likely put it into the wrong gear that caused the spin easy to do in these cars
Great stuff! Well done
Watched to Hampton Court so far...great stuff. Nice to see you clouted the same draincover just before the Natural History Museum as i did on Sunday......glad your handlebars didn't drop by 10% though. :-)
How you managed to keep going on Leith despite being in such a high gear with that cyclist in the wrong side getting off the bike is beyond impressive
Hi great video. How did you get the graphics on the video?
When you pay for the experience you get the onboard with telemetry included
Incredibly useful video - thank you for sharing it.
Ian, good to hear you found it useful...are you riding this year?
@@davemc3803 Yes, I am.
How did you get the graphics? Love all the speed and lap times etc.

Wow. You did 50 miles 9 minutes quicker than the fastest rider in my local 50 mile bike ride where there were 430 riders. The winner is in the top 5% of 10k runners in the country. They were on tri-bikes with modest climbing metres and people who set off at 7am were faster than you. Must be a fast course with roads closed off (they weren't for my local ride).
The Prudential is definitely a very quick course for most stronger riders
Was this the front of the race and was it competitive thinking of riding this year.
Certainly not the front of the ride! :-) ...not really a competitive event either as there are no times recorded. A good local event nonetheless
dave mc thanks for the quick reply. It would be my first cycling event, I just wanted to experience the competition in cycling but it seems to be well run and nice ride.
yeah eoghan I don't think its competitive but you can still push yourself and ride in a group
Luke Nelson thanks for the reply Luke 😂
I’ve found this really useful in prep for the 2018 event. Thanks
Glad to hear you've found this useful...Enjoy the ride!
Did you stop at all ?
LostInTheTrees _ nope 😀 had a good clear ride all the way...carried all the energy gels/bars and drinks I needed...
nice ride. how did u get the battery to last that long
PlattyNumm I used an external battery (Kinps 20000mah) housed in a Top Tube bag with the usb cable permanently attached....system setting on the camera for External Power was set to Charge Mode so it was constantly charging...
I'm about halfway in at the moment. Really enjoying the speed. I did it in average 15.6 mph. Guess I'll have to train harder ha ha
