Despite the many Easter egs and references in this film and even though it has a good premise, this film is unfortunately executed in an immature and somewhat shallow manner and the film is burdened by the title of Disney's 100th anniversary, causing high expectations for this film Unfortunately, the plot presented in this film seems ordinary. If they reuse the initial story where star can turn into a human, the evil queen Amaya, the death of Sabino, make hope on the tree of hope, and at all cos is a love song duet between asha and star boy and does not eliminate the sad story in the initial concept hope this film can definitely reach break even in Unfortunately the studio actually used the second concept as we see now at the box office. It's really a shame that now I only wish the Wish film had used the original concept but time can't be turned back😭😭🙂😓😓

Lazy references. They should have had a movie with one character from every movie. Which was the original idea. How did we go from that to this shit?

I believe that’s other one of the references was to Moana. This is because Asha is drawn to the stars like Moana is drawn to the ocean and the ocean listens to her that same way that the stars and sky listened to Asha by sending the wishing star. I’m not entirely sure if this is one or not but that’s what I thought. Leave a like if u caught this and or think this is true plz.

One reference you missed was that the scene where Asha runs towards the tree is very reminiscent of “Moana”

The city Rosas the rose icon looks like something from beauty and the beast when the mural showed how the prince turned into a beast

I thought the chem lab in Magnifico's castle resembled Basil's from The Great Mouse Detective. Also, my Dad pointed out when Magnifico chases Asha into the woods on horseback, there’s a nod to the Headless Horseman from The Adventures of Ichabod Crane when the horse rears back.

Swveral times, the woshes intentionally line up to gorm hidden Mickeys. The feather pen drawing the Mickey isn't just any Mickey. It's the Disney Channel logo from the 90s that the actors would 'draw'. At one point, Magnifico is swirling the wishes around him in a way similar to Mickey in Sorcerer's Apprentice. 4 little diamonds float up from Magnifico's potion like the ones in Frozen 2.

The turtle swimming on the back kinda looks like the one in the princess and the frog ! I'm glad you found the atlantid reference because I wasn't sure about this one !

Theres one you missed, when star sparkles glitter dust all around Asha at the end of the movie, I think it's a reference to when Cinderella transforms, the movements are even the same
