There has never been interest in a national lodge. The differences in rituals between different states' Masons are negligible, essentially the same. As a NC Mason, however, i can only visit a lodge in another state if my state Grand Lodge recognizes theirs, which they all do. Again, it goes no higher than the state level. Its no secret we have a hard time attracting new members. Nobody wants to put effort into anything anymore unless theres money in it.
