If you "believe" any data coming out of the Florida government than u may as well keep drinking the Kool aid because your hooked for life or at least until you run out of money. Let's say for arguments sake that figure is accurate and you have close to a half million net additional residents per year. You have to wonder where that additional tax money is going. I sure as hell would. It's not going into any noticeable infrastructure improvements, schools, healthcare, etc... Is it mismanagement greed or corruption at every level of government? Hint, it's all of the above.

@@jagodah1130 during Covid people didn’t have to pay their mortgage, most Americans with a mortgage also have an escrow with that mortgage and since the mortgage payments were deferred, they were not paying their housing insurance. They were also deferments for car insurance and other types of insurance. Essentially by majority of Americans deferring payments caused this massive fail. Which is why you’re seeing all these insurance companies get bought up by bigger companies and well known insurance companies completely states like Florida and Texas.
The police beat their citizens and turn around and stack felony assault charges because they hurt their fists on their heads. Who tf would ever chance their freedom and livelihood on that land. Gtfo while you still can

Great topic thank you! Always very informative information. Suggestion for possible topic: house title insurance after paying off mortgage - companies that are offering the services in CA (are there even any companies left in the state that offer these services???) - the scams about title lock type of monitoring - the fact the homeowners by law can not offer title insurance as well (again this is for the time after the house is paid off) was doing tons of research on the topic and it would be great to have the info in one place.

There are companies out there that offer title transfer services with fees of course. As for the title insurance... after all it is Insurance. so there are loopholes! Title insurance can change when there is a title transfer, best to check with your Realtors or local title or insurance companies..

How exactly does the 1st point work? If you are paying principal + interest a bit early, how does that change the total amount you pay overall? Wouldn't you still be paying the same amount over the life of the loan. Can you please elaborate a bit more on this. Thanks!
Yes thanks for watching the video: When you pay bi-weekly, you make half of your regular monthly payment every two weeks. Since there are 52 weeks in a year, this results in 26 half-payments, which is equivalent to 13 full monthly payments over the course of the year. This means you’re effectively making one extra full payment each year, which goes directly toward the principal. Over time, this reduces the principal faster, thereby shortening the loan term and saving on interest.

@@MrDynastyd Yes, you are making the same monthly payments. But you end up paying one extra payment per year as principal and that goes a long way, without really making any effort to pay extra... but if you pay extra every month or whenever you can , you can accelerate your pay downs even more!!

yes, great topic. - paid off mortgage before the lock down in 2020 and that was a life saver - as i lost all income during the first 2 years time and would have been in big trouble not able to pay the mortgage and / or take extensions (more interest for the banks....) - my CPA was trying to convince me not to pay off my mortgage - as i would miss out on the standard mortgage interest tax deductions - when i calculated the difference - the scale tipped toward paying off the mortgage early. - tip for room for rent - there are many highly reliable professionals like travel nurses that always look for a 4-16 week stay (length of their contract with medical facilities which also give them per-diem for housing). - online vetted sites like "furshinedfinder" links landlords and renters - both sides are vetted, its not an AirB&B pitfall. there are also people who relocate for training or work - during the week they stay close to work and go back home for the weekend. if you are close to a college - recommended look for grad students - they seem to be more mature and more responsible. sometimes you have visiting professors that also need the comforts of private home vs. hotel stay amenities.

I'm of the belief that a lot of people think that their home is worth 8 to 900 thousand but when they put it on the market they find out that it just sits there. Because no one in their right mind would pay that much for something that is not worth that much.
People are just in disbelief about inflation. Once people come to the realization just how bad Joe Biden has devalued their dollar it will be easier to pay that high price.

it depends on the area you live in, some people are willing to pay that much for a house. I'm not saying that they are not overvalued, because they are. and I agree with you, I wouldn't buy one at that price, but you will be surprise at how people are still buying them specially here in California. the demand for houses is very high and the population just keeps growing.

What was forcing the Airbnb? Craze was all the traveling and the swelling of incoming workers in the tech industry, especially here in the silicon valley. When all those jobs go away then you don't need all of the associated services either. I'm sorry but I completely disagree with a lot off things here. Maintaining a home is on you. Maintaining safety standards is on you. Paying $200 a year for a permit is on you. These are things you need to do when you get into this game they aren't really hidden costs, and at the end of the day maintenence keeps the property value high, so it's a double edged sword. The main issue is people renting wanted to make an awful lot of PROFIT but now that's shrunk they automatically think to put that on the consumer - but that's not always how it should, or has to be. Take a look at Arizona Iced Tea for instance and what their CEO said. Unfortunately in this day and age greed gets the better of people, instead of taking the hit for a period of time and keeping prices lower but making less profit, the prices shot up and now the platform is dead. Owners have to take some responsibility here.
Yes. agree with you. But hidden costs are costs that creep up on you. the $200 was additional fees amongst many other fees or unexpected expenses like insurance etc.. generally they are passed on..l. Just the airlines and supermarkets do!!
The hotel industry spent millions everywhere lining the pockets of various local Governments to pass anti-short term rent bylaws which is what wiped out air bnb. Now when we travel, we get to spend $300 per night to listen to someones tv in the next room, which means, we ain't travelling anymore. A corrupt system to effectively wipe out competition.
For me it comes down to value. It only makes sense to get an AirBnB if you are a large group that wants to rent a big house. If you travel alone or as a couple, a hotel typically provides a better value. For the same money you get a really good breakfast, someone cleans your room and makes your bed. The check-in process is much smoother and if you face a problem, they'll take care of it immediately. I guess AirBnBs can make sense if you want something for a longer period of time, so you can cook and have your own kitchen. But that's kinda about it. I've also seen really weird fees popping up at AirBnB like insane cleaning fees, especially in the US that are somewhat off putting. I think in general the AirBnb meltdown is a good thing: 1) Prices will go back to normal levels 2) Housing will go back to the actual housing market. Getting people a home is more important than someone staying for a week, where you typically have hundreds of hotel options in larger cities

Theses days, it's just cheeper and less hassle for me to get a budget hotel over an Airbnb. Not to mention i don't have to put up with people randomly showing up to make sure theres not too many people there.
