Marta and Bela were so OVERRATED as head coaches/selection committee chairs of Team USA. ANY of the USA coaches could have done that job, especially during this golden age of USA Women's Gymnastics!

What?? 9.80??? If you see Omeliantchik this is a lot better routine and Oksana got 9.85. This was almost perfect? Why this gymnast was always robbed??

Al Trautwig's annoying streak goes back over twenty years, big surprise. Szabo is as lovely as ever even if she was surpassed by some of her teammates by that time. She is in amazing form here. You can suck it, Jason B.

pity for the poor landing in the last pass. 9.95 well deserved but enough for the silver only.

@justinmjb Normally I would agree with you on other stuff, but you went a bit overboard with Szabo, and Szabo is my girl and I dont let anyone miss with her, The music of this routine is also my favorite music as well, so I get a little defensive when people attack this routine, I mean Shushounova looked just as "dykey" as well. And fyi, Szabo got a lot of shit for being Hungarian in Romania and was looking to defect as well which is why in part she pushed herself towards 88.

@justinmjb Ecaterina was the best gymnasts of the 80s, this routine is excellent, did you think also that the camera angle and the fact that she is short made her look that way? I mean you made the comment once, but carried on like how many times? And Rumania must have seen something in her because they offered her a spot on the 88 team as well. THe dance, maturity and difficulty were excellent in this routine. YEs, she wasnt a Silivas or 70 lbs, but for Gods Sake, she was pushing 18 there.

@metsdudenj She's a tank. No talent.And that's how I feel. many people agree. It's not hating,It's called honesty. Just becuz someone don't like something don't mean they "hating" on it. She is in the same shape but actually worse than todays college gymnast. She looks like the usa college girl gymnasts from the early 90's at best from a no name college! Fat, out of shape, dragging herself around the floor. awful

@metsdudenj I not hating on her. If you like her you must also love Kim Kelly. they look basically the same. they can't b taken seriously. I mean really.get real. if she wasn't romanian etc, blah.If this was a nobody that just came along you wouldn't look twice at this or her. Your as biased as the scores that the judges gave her.

what a cow this girl was. never liked her. so overated. And u can hear every thud when she hits the floor. And on beam it took her a hour to set up before each big skill. her tripple turn here she drops her leg at the end and also after the second turn she pulls it in. it's delayed dumb and is no match for betty okino.

Wow! A Romanian who actually looked like she was allowed to eat. Beautiful figure and beautiful dancing, choreography, tumbling. Remember this great era that included Silivas and Dobre? Romanians that danced (but I do have to say that Sandra Izbaza is good).

Both Trautwig and Rigby are of average to low intelligence. You can tell both of them wrote their commentary out before saying it. You can see they even used thesauruses to get those big vocabulary words included. Al was always a dick, in fact, he actually looked like a dick if you took a look at him. Rigby looked like she bought her clothes at the junior miss department at sears

I agree, her triple pirouette was flawless. So many gymnasts these days neglect the simple grace of their turns, and they look sloppy. Not so in this routine.
