Hello there! I’m GarageDoorGuy327. I upload videos of cool garage doors and openers that I see for anyone and everyone who is interested in garage doors and such.
Garage doors have been somewhat of a lifelong hobby for my goddaughter Abby, so many of the videos on this channel are dedicated to her. I also upload videos of other topics. I am currently an emergency room attending physician 24/7 so uploads may be sparse. Please be aware that I have a very busy schedule and will not be able to upload videos regularly. Abby- I believe this is a 1960s Emerson/Rittenhouse 2 note chime.

Abby-I’m not sure which box on the wall is the doorbell so I got both in the video.

I'm curious what that bar that goes across the end of the tracks is for. Might just be for spacing but it seems kinda strange to just put a bar there.
I’m not sure what it’s for either, just know that it’s present on most Hörmann systems.
It’s a European thing. I’ve seen it with other manufacturers too. Sometimes they backhang the track off of it, sometimes they hang the operator above it with brackets attaching to the rail. If I remember right, I think they’re sent proper length to space the horizontal tracks correctly. Yet another thing it’d be nice to have with our doors.
A SupraMatic! I wish this was the machine Hörmann brought to the states, instead of the one we got. The SupraMatic is a much slicker design! When Hörmann first came to the states, they actually had that raised panel design, and pinchless system. But (at least where I was in Texas) they didn't sell very well. Fun fact, most residential sectional doors you'll see there, will be on low headroom tracks like this, whether it needs low headroom or not. Lol

@@GarageDoorGuy327 the one that looks like a mantis’ head. SilentDrive I think it’s called. They’re good machines, I just like the look of the SupraMatic better.
@@TheGarageDoorGeekI looked up a picture of the Hörmann SilentDrive 5500 Series and yes, I definitely like the SupraMatic better.
