My updated take on gordon ,my ideal gordon, is still an lner A1 but HES NOT THE prototype insted hes the second lner A1 lner 4471 sir fedrick banbarry but in my au he was named sir gordon fedrick banbarry built in 1922 gordon had a mustache until 1938-1939 or 1939 or when ww2 happend or the 40s when the other A1s were rebuilt into A3s he was after great northern and he went into grouping and he got along with many of his brothers and scotsman th3y had some arguments with each other but at the end of the day they still loved cared for each other in 1924 gordon came to sodor along with some lner teak express coaches along with an lner j50 wich later turned into thomas in my au along with many other engines and then was bought by the nwr and he was gifted the orignal nwr blue livrey and in 1938-1939 or in the 40s when the other a1s were rebuilt into a3s gordon recived the same upgrades he was sent to doncaster works to be rebuilt into an a3 and he was givin the A3 mods/upgrades and he was givin a corrier tender and got a bango dome he didint get the greasly smoke deflecters no stupid bullsh*t rebuild into a weird 2 cylinder or a greasly-stainer hybrid rebuild at crew crap sorry rws purits so that was my ideal gordon so what do you think of it

My thomas is an lner j50 built in 1924 as 3238 and arrived 1925 and got his branchline in 1927 and he and kate/lady have a close relationship more than friends but i wont spoil and in ww2 thomas and kate saved marklin from german bombers and forced marklin to be a spy if not marklin wouldve been scrapped and now marklin works at tidmouth harbor and thomas still pulls trains on the farquhar branchline

My ideal gordon is also a normal lner A1/A3 and rebuilt into an A3 and he has a bango dome and greasly smoke deflectors but he didint get a corrior tender becuse for his short trips across sodor but sometimes longer and he only have a corrior tender for special occasions
