Where did you get that harness I love that

Is there resources for people that need a service dog but can't afford the training and has mental problems like anxiety attacks and paranoia and depression. My doctor made me a letter saying I need my Pomeranian in public for my mental health problems but my dog is not the best trained dog and I don't have the money to pay service dog training for her. I bring her in public with me and bring the doctor paper with me. I put her in a dog stroller when I go out even though I wish she could be in my arms in case I get an episode. I live in Canada. My dog doesn't like kids or other dogs and it's a struggle to leave the house. I only go out in public when I need to cause its really stressful for me.

Is there recourses for people that don't have the money to pay training for service dogs but need them in public?

When I first started training my service dog Jus in obedience I hadn't even started training him to alert to my high heart rate yet. But when I was doing public Access tests, and public training he started alerting me to my heart rate all on his own. No prior training whatsoever for my heart rate spikes. Dogs are truly incredible. I still will be scent training him just to be sure that all of his alerts are accurate. But every single time he has alerted me it is always ended up with my heart racing and then having a panic attack. So far that I've noticed he's never had an inaccurate alert.

I'm struggling with this right now, I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant and I had this problem with my last pregnancy. I kind of ignored it until I got really sick in Easter and had to go to the ER, then it kept being high randomly and unpredictably until I fainted and had to go to the ER again. I'm pretty sure it happens when I'm not pregnant too, but pregnancy definitely makes it worse. I've been told not to drive 😢 I have my first appointment with a cardiologist next week.

What watch do you use?? I need something to desperately monitor both my heart rate and blood pressure, but I wanna get my heart rate response trained sooner rather than later. My dog is incredibly smart, but is 9 months now, and I feel it’s time to train it. It won’t be applied in public till she’s ready, but it’s be really nice to at least have the foundations and that knowledge now

If its accessible and open to the public than the swrvice animal is allowed. Denying a service animal is the same as denying that woman her wheelchair under the ADA.

Also, learn your state law! I have more specific protections under state law than I do under the ADA.

Where did you get the rainbow dog dress? I need one for my service doggo even though he is a boy, he still needs to slay everyday. He has rainbow leg warmers and that dress would look fantastic on him.

So a feont yard is not public access it is 100% private property even if not fenced in and anyone stepping on the property they are not allowed abd owners can ask them to leave or force them to leave. Public access areas are approved areas that allow the public, which includes those with disabilities and the tools needed to help alleviate and alert the person ( the dog) the moment they allow public access ada law then takes priority and trumps over any policy that disallows dogs or dogs off leash even if the property is privately owned. So back to his comparison of its like a front yard of a home. Unless the front yard has been opened to public access such as starting a yard sale then it is not comparable. If a home owner has a yard sale they have opened their yard up to public access temporarily and those with disabilities and thwir tools (dogs) are allowed on the property when the yard sale is over and no more public access is permitted then someone with their dog is not allowed even if a service dog. This guy was comparing apples to oranges. Privatelt owned properties with no public access permitted is not the same as a privately owned propertly that has permitted public access.

I would try to train my own service dog since I am in need of one, but sadly I don't live in the area so I am going to have to look for a trainer in my area until then
