Soldier Feild was always a blast we had a room on the 27th floor of the Days Inn on Lake Shore Drive and allowed any touring Heads that needed floor space or a shower in our room and once the word got out allllllll night there were Heads using the shower for hours . We all took some Snowman and a lightning storm started over the lake so imagine 20 Deadheads glued to the window and everytime lightning would hit everyone would gasp.lol Next night was the 6/19/93 show Good memories

That was a crazy storm, I remember them ripping out Fought the Law !! Such a great tour ....

This happens to me when I have air in my water line. Usually after a filter change. It goes away after a couple gallons. If you're issue persist then it's probably not that.

Saw the Chapel Hill shows. Very lucky mailorder. Got 4 for each show. Traffic jam first night but pretty magical overall. Forget what other shows i saw but never forget NC. Oh saw a couple Cap Centre shows. Think thats it. Good tour, good shows. MORNING DEW.

My final tour. Busted at the Knickerbocker 3. 29. 93 with two grams. Last song Warfrat! Ain’t no time to hate!

Oh wow... My very first show. Not that anyone gives a shit, but I remember staying in Pittsburgh the night before, with my Ultra Smart friend's. I was so very self conscious back then...unfortunately. I wish I had the wisdom I have now. I would've danced as if it was my last day on earth. I would've done back flips in the snow. All I was concerned about then, was whether or not they'd play Brown Eyed Women, which, of course they did. It wasn't one of their best show, but it was my first and favorite, now that I think on it for a second.

My first show was here, 12/6/81. We had driven down from Oshkosh, WI., walked up to the box office, got tix, second to last row! Whole show platoon of cops in full riot gear behind us. Didn't matter, I was blown away! They were busting people for vending in the parking lot after.

I always watch these hoping to see my dad somewhere, love you dad.

I remember very few lots like that with the greatful dead , now it’s 2022 and there D&c and I would take cops till 2023 to find a body at the show , that’s if they even cared , times have changed , security lol 😂

I've lost 2 ducks in a week from what we highly suspect was raccoons. Looking up animal traps that could get them then they're getting a gunshot to the head to avenge our duckies. Hate them so much now.

I feel the dead didn’t personally mind vendors I feel it was just making it hard for them to find places to play we’re vending isn’t a problem. Yes it brings ppl to the shows that don’t got tickets but that doesn’t mean they don’t want get a ticket or are not trying to get tickets. Plus lot is a place for the local heads of each area to come together an trade. Some ppl get to go on tour but a lot can’t do lot brings a great element. We still deal with the same situations today Wich is funny that one would think all these years later we have this figured out lol

Finding tickets on lot always seemed so impossible, I'd usually wind up finding something else & just hang outside, that was always a great time

Went to the st. Patty's day show. Coldest show I ever attended. Near 0 degrees at showtime. Lucy in the Sky breakout. Sold out quickly

They had a Police sub-station right inside the arena. Cops were everywhere. I remember them cracking down on free food. "You can't give people food!!" My first parking lot. Tickets were hard to find. I remember a guy flashing hundred dollar bills trying to score tix. At least I got tapes of the shows afterward.

Cops have always been scumbags.

Personally I think the shows in 90s were some of their best...IMO.

The scene was out of control and a joke by the 90s. People embarrassing themselves. So glad I stopped touring in 79.
