My Dad bought a little grey fergie just after WWII. Back then they didn't have foot plates only foot pegs. Dad made foot plates for his just as they were later attached. The local Fergie sales man saw them took a schetch and posted it to Manchester head quarters. Thereafter all Ferguson tractors at that time came with these foot plates. Dad was dairy farming in North Taranaki New Zealand.
