I don’t often like questions like which country do you prefer? Because sometimes it’s complicated and you can like both . It’s also not a competition

I‘m midsize in Germany but when I go back home to Vietnam, I have to shop at big size stores where the weight range is about 70 kg - 100 kg. In most other countries this wouldn’t count as plus size yet😅

Vietnamese born skinny is not about their diet. It is their gene ya? It is just the same why westerners are taller and have a longer boner. It is an example. At least it's easier for people like you to get it. 😂😂😂

As fellow SEA neighbour, when I see Malay food I think they look amazing! I’d really want to taste some, but I got real shock that I think those are straight sugar or fat like ice kepal milo or nasi kandar. Seeing Viet food also lookin good! I’ve tried some but the fact that Viet people are too much focusing on their weight, I hope you can enjoy your amazing food like I do 🫶🏻

the problem with Malaysia food isn't just the traditional cuisines but even moreso the growing trend of overly indulging trendy/viral desserts like cakes/brownies topped with chocolate sauce snd moreee overly indulging toppings n processed foods, and everything laden with cheese and whatnot...which gets more n more concerning. nasi lemak and roti canai are the least of threats nowadays i will say. lol. and yeah, the modern way of thinking like 'body positivity/shaming' make it easier for people to justify unhealthy eating/lifestyle. even plus size have been normalized now and clothes and whatnot for plus sized are easily accessible especially online and likely even cheaper than ever(when i want to buy cheal clothes online even the smallest size will be very large). i will admit i myself do not have healthy lifestyle though eating wise, my laziness help to keep me from being overweight, but my lack of exercise/healthy lifestyle are still problems i need to overcome. of course there is also growing trend of health conscious people but normally here, it's either the extreme in indulging or extreme in dieting, no in between/normal healthy lifestyle.

Malaysia foods are delicious because of how diverse it is but mostly unhealthy cause healthy lifestyles svcks so bad and bland and boring which is why more than 90% people on earth hates them.

"fat shaming" eventually has it benefits. A pure reality check not just this woke fat activism that the US is unfortunate to have. People are healthier, some psychological issues can be dealt with later if any.
