yvanny m yeah. I hope she wasn't soured on the con experience. Sarah rarely does them and I hope this wasn't the last straw
I don't think Root had a personality disorder. Think about this, When Root is all bummed out and Depressed, and barely able to function that's who she really is. The whole chipper perky persona was an act she put on for so long to mask her lonliness and social ineptitude, but to the point where she started living like it was her true personality. Also in a way that's why Root came off as clingy/borderline creepy/flirty with shaw, because she doesn't know how to actually interact with people in a way that's not putting on an act. In a nutshell Root deep down is/was a poorly functioning lonely person

NazcarFanatic24 NazcarFanatic24 you don't know a whole lot about personality disorders, do you? People who are depressed, socially inept or agoraphobic can have any number of personality disorders... that's generally what makes them awkward and poor functioning.
Not really. I'd rather play it safe then claim I know quite a bit about personality disorders. Occam's Razor: don't multiply entities and sometimes the simplest explanation is often the best

Mandama004 not everyone whos like root has to have a personality disorder to explain everything....sometimes people are like that with no disorders at all...like me
Smh....That skit was barely in character. They couldn't resist pandering to the shippers. We could have had a heartfelt serious scene to give us closure and Amy and Sarah turn it into a pander.
NazcarFanatic24 Given your last comment I think I'm right to assume that you're letting dig into you a little too deeply. I would have loved a real, genuinely heartfelt proper ending but this just wasn't the time or the place for that. Get a grip.

NazcarFanatic24 I agree :( The fans couldn't keep quiet and Amy and Sarah just messed around... It would have been awesome if they played a realistic scene. But whatever... nice of them to do a improv scene, at least their nice to the fans.
They are working actresses making thousands of dollars a year... what exactly do you do besides come on RUclips to act like a grumpy fuck?

It's futile, they wont do it unless its profitable. We have a better chance of getting a comic or novel continuation, that way while the actors may age in real life and may be unable to do a reunion the characters remain ageless in fiction :)
We need to keep hope, Person Of Interest have a lot of audience, I'm sure if the show reboot it will be profitable. I really love #POI, so if there still have hope, I will do anything to fight for it.
But..... There's no more Root </3

I was there! I asked the second question! The one at 3:38! I also got to talk to her for about 5 minutes at her signing. She was so kind and friendly! I wished we could have talked all day. Such an easy conversationalist. I just love her. :)

I love Evil Root. I immediately fell in love with her portrayal even from the start. She was really the reason I never looked back and stayed.

I feel like I'm the only one that liked Root since the beginning. I guess I kinda have a soft spot for psycho bad guys and she just left a mark. I mean she was this badass intelligent woman that accomplished everything she set out to do and didn't let anyone get in her way while not leaving any loose ends. I just though she was amazing since the beginning and she very quickly became my favorite character on the show, and probably ever.
She became my favorite character. She was one of the most developed and the one who evolved the most(next to Fusco). She became the heart of the whole show and team. It's incredible how she went from psychotic killer, to one of the most loyal and dedicated members of team machine, and gave her life in the ultimate sacrifice. In the prime, just when she found love and a sense of belonging
you aren't the only one. Ever since Root Cause (1x13) I have found Root interesting and then Firewall happened and I just started craving for more Root!
I liked the character from first second aswell :) Since then i was always waiting for a next episode where she was in :) really amazing characters the writer did. And Amy Acker is reallly awesome, expecting so much more of her, in whatever Series or Movie :D
absolutely agree. the first 2 episodes of season 2 are among my five favourite episodes from the whole show. that little scene where root says "I am the best support, the best partner and best friend you will ever have.", and finch says "no, you are worse than all of them. please kill me now so i dont have to listen to you anymore." touches me every time. How he brings her, who can shoot someone without even flinching, to tears just by saying these few words. even there it is obvious what an intense relationship would devellop between these two characters.
