Nice rebuild! Drove one of those in the seventies.Always wore a seat belt long before it was fashionable! If you didn't you were sure to bounce high enough to hit the cab roof.

I read the comments from the folks get all nostalgic about the sound of a Detroit Diesel. Take it from an old truckie: those suckers were loud. It didn't matter what make of truck that you drove they were all the same. If you didn't wear earplugs, and I always did, you came home with a headache that took a handful of aspirin and a six pack to cure

First truck I ever drove, for Uncle Sam. 6-71 with a 10 speed Road Ranger, without a trailer it was like a 13,000 lb sports car...

I’m not too much on some of the old IH trucks, but that is one sharp little single axle rig. 🥰 I like single axles. Sounds good. I remember seeing some of those out on the road back in the day.

I thought that cab style was in the 60's when did they change ? I had a 74 Fleetstar & it had the new cab much bigger ,, that's like a cargistar cab
