Suzuki GS1000 starting
Просмотров 5 тыс.Год назад
Some of you probably remember this 1978 Suzuki GS1000 I uploaded a few years ago. It was a barn find and didn't run for 25 years at that time. I didn't video the process of restoration but here I finally finished. Today I got her registered and now I can shoot some riding shots. I had so much fun during the build and sorry for not sharing it with you. This is just a short clip for starting her.

GS850 fuel air jets modification
Просмотров 1204 года назад
I did a quick modification on GS850 fuel and air mixture jets. I think GS owner all know that GS has a very tight space under the carbs when you want to adjust fuel mixture screw jets. Here I made a quick mod for it. Enjoy guys! Просмотров 25 тыс.4 года назад
This is a Suzuki GS1000, which I am working on as a new project. She has been in a shed for a 25years without a single running according to the previous owner. I am trying to make her running first before stripping down and restore. I uploaded this before but had an issue with audio so this is one without background music. Have fun guys!!

BMW R80 Custom ignition switch Mount

I have the key ignition switch mounted in front of the bike, next horn, which I made before. It starts losing its tension and spins together with the key. I think it is time to make a new solid one.

    Nice Job restoring it! Can you tell me what exhaust system used? Not all after market exhaust systems allow you to use the center stand.

    I had a 1978 with a Weisco 1100 big bore kit, racing cams, Mikuni 29mm smoothbore flat slides. A Yoshi 4 into1 header, aluminum extended swing arm, individual air pods, roller chain, regeared and different primary and secondary sprockets. DC1 racing ignition, and many other mods. 0-60 on two seconds, and the quarter in 9. I would put a link to it on RUclips, but they will flag it and ban me from posting! RUclips is such a crying ars babies these days!

    Suzuki fitted a 4 valve head to this GS1000 bottom end & created the GSX1100 , but somehow it never had the same cache as the GS1000.

    • @radiofilmcustom1741
      @radiofilmcustom1741 Год назад

      Oh that is just a chaep bearing puller you can buy on ebay, which I suggest you to buy a little better quality but it will do the job. You just need to buy one longer rod from any hardware shop. When you try you will see what it means. Search on ebay bearing puller you will see many listing. Hope it helps.

      Well, just use a multimeter and make sure you get the power on your switch and make sure it has a good ground. That's the first step I guess. Good luck mate!
