Here is a real truth stop smoneing Marijuana then you will not have any problem . This is 100 % its a paganism real view of truth . Those dont like my truth north of clare called hurrson the monsonic lodgr and the Eastern Star ! Guess what? It's a Satanism town of clare County like a satanism Marijuana.
Cousins took me out there at night once. Very cool and historical place. At one point I walked through what felt like a black widow's web which freaked me out.
RIP
Tucker?
The Sunrise Cafe is a good stop.
Used to know people who lived there back in the day. 80's
How many episodes were there? This show was hyped for 2 and a half seasons.
Informed
My parents had a cabin near MA Deeters. Been going there way back in the 1970s. Very sad when I found out that the original building was burned down years ago. I do wish that they kept the original sign that was in front of the building. I recall that on the bottom of the sign stated the following “do not drive through town like hell” or something like that.
I love this lake. I've visited my relatives in Prescott since the early 80s. They still live there. And although I've never lived there, my FONDEST childhood memories are near that lake😢
Wonder if the Oscoda County Sheriff was as corrupt back then as they are now?🤔 Cool little place for sure!👍
Curious which trail this is or the nearest crossroads, looks great and I love the Big Creek / Luzerne Area of the Au Sable Valley!!
Wow my family members are going there tonight!
Was up at the Luzerne Trails over the Labor Day Holiday, and finally got to go to MA DEETERS for Dinner, Great Food!
Does the Dr. Have a website or channel?
What do all the white tags on the trees mean?
We hike here often. This would be better without the music, as nature sounds are much sweeter than any sound track.
What a shame. Those log walls still looking solid and the forest reclaiming it.
Great video!
if you would have turned left onto fairview instead of right you would have gone down the hill and on the left seen a Shrek plush holding a Heineken (Drunk Shrek) that's my driveway! if you would have gone straight, gone down a little ways on the left-hand side you would have seen the remains of a cement building. I'm not sure what it was but would love to know the history behind it if anybody knows
Thanks! We'll check it out!
I don't understand why they don't do something with the lake named after are town Skidway lake
You can bet that the Corporation that owns the property has recovered the gold coins and made them disappear forever. He never should have revealed the coins. Very few people would trade riches for notoriety. Only a fool would find/recover the gold then tell ANYONE. So whoever found it has gotten away with it. Silver is hardly worth the investment to mine. Gold coins however change everything. Gold brings out the evil greed in Men.
I'd move in that month and start restoration. Especially in these times ..
Has anyone panned for gold in the UP? Personally, I'm convinced there's gold & silver to be found in the UP & I don't give a rat's ass what all these geologists say. Read enough about either ore, whether through existing mines out west or old miners tales, & you will also say " if there, why not here". I'm seriously convinced there is. I'm not saying a " wall of silver" but, enough to make it profitable.
You can pan for glaciated gold along Lake Superior shoreline. They have also mined gold near Marquette, very low concentrations though. Most all of it is glaciated gold.
i used to live close to there and never heard about this place at all how cool
I was on that cliff hanger ride at the Richmond fair
this was so much fun and very exhausting my wife and i worked our buts off that weekend love to do this again.
This is the coolest surprise out in the middle of nowhere!
Monacle Lake, near Brimley, has some old graves. One is a old washboard with the names of three sailors that were found frozen in the ice on the shore of Lake Superior. The cemetery behind our house has headstones that are dated around 1830 with one that shows birthdate from 1780’s.
Rumor has it that Bob Segar may have stopped in for a visit years ago.
is it open for tours??? we knew Jimmy very well
A very engaging, even poignant, video! Thanks for this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a tosser.
The. Place was used it a James Oliver Curwwod book. Curwwod called it the lost city.
It has postal service it is far from lost.
Its obviously Occupied and not Abandoned at all.
It’s obviously a deer probably created like if it was a deer with zombie deer Disease
Is that in Dexter ?
i like old wilderness documentaries the land looks still innocenly pristine the people too but know it seems many public lands are abused , trash left around camp grounds and public rest areas....lets care folks , pick up ttrash please care because these places belong to everyone, care because you want the next persons to enjoy it...please have integrity of character....
Very nice story!
I went and it was very fun
Cool, too bad about the fire.
Thats a wonderful camp.
Seeing places like these always makes me wonder if those walls could talk what kind of experiences and lives once existed there?
Gary, you are right. Howard and Cora Russell were their names. The cabins were called Brooke Nook Cabins. They were my grandparents and we lived next door. I spent many days as a child helping with the cabins. What a blessing for so many people. Mitch Harlan
Founder recently passed away, RIP Spike.
Sad that founder passed away recently, RIP Spike.
It was interesting seeing the industrial manufacture of traditional wooden rakes after watching a video on how they were once made by hand. Basically, everything has been streamlined and machines have replaced much of the hands-on labour though it is still very hands-on! The final products are all very similar to one another compared to the older handmade ones. Sad that this was destroyed by fire! Such a great piece of history.
Is this the Sodey dear camp?
You found er
"Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turns the minutes to hours?"
Thats deep but a good song.
My mother sure enjoyed helping out at Coopersville during the Cowboy Festivals!
