i cant get a fine flame to polish acrylic no matter what i do ,the flame is dispersed and wide ,i use propane bottles ,maybe if i use map gas it will works ?
MY BRAND NEW BLUEFIRE BTS-8096 DOESN'T WORK... IT'S NOT ALLOWING THE GAS TO FLOW. IT GETS A GOOD SPARK. I'VE TRIED OTHER MODELS AND A BENZOMATIC ON THE SAME TANK AND THEY WORK PERFECTLY. MY BTS-8096 LITERALLY QUIT WORKING AFTER 13 MINUTES... DOES BLUEFIRE TAKE PRIDE IN MANUFACTURING GARBAGE? 🤔
Where the object you’re heating is positioned in the flame makes a difference. Map pro is hotter in the primary flame, propane is hotter at the tip of it

I've only tried mine on a propane bottle but, so far, I love it. Can't wait to try a map gas bottle. I'll be using it for "heat and beat" maintenance work and I love the big flame with propane. Glad I didn't spend the extra $25 on a torch head with the auto striker. This thing is smooth. It's going to get me out of some impossible jobs.

So what's the temperature difference between propane and your map gas am I missing something
@@joewest1972 From what I researched, Mapp burns up to 3,730 F, and propane at 3,600 F. Not much difference to me if you only need 780 F.
@@guitardan46 Mapp burns at 5300F ...Map/Pro substitute burns at 3730f....it made a difference to me when I was Brazing
