Plastic canvas for cross stitch is good to use. It’s ~1\8th inch apart and you can just skip holes to make it 1/4 or 1/2 inch. I just tried it out and it worked really well. I used pencil on the back of the fabric so it won’t show.

What about Versamark black ink?

Seems you didn’t let your dough rise. Don’t put the dough in the pan then to the oven. Dough needs to rise and punched down , make the loaves, let them rise and bake.

There is a Pullman pan recipe. I have used a regular bread recipe that yields 2 loaves.

I use a pan like that sometimes for a long cinnamon bread that I make on a long roll. I let my bread rise more b4 baking & I usually use sourdough starter & not yeast. Just me. I really like my Pullman type pan but I don’t use lids on mine 😊❤👍🏼. Nice experiment 😊❤👍🏼

You need 600g of flour for that size of Pullman loaf
