Printing an FT-mode Grated Triboelectric Nanogenerator using PTFE and Nylon
Просмотров 5 тыс.3 года назад
#TENG #Triboelectric This is a Part 3 Individual Project done by Alexander Todorov as part of his BEng Mechatronics Engineering course at the University of Southampton. Different printing solutions and conditions are explored to produce an all-printed FT-mode pnG-TENG, a novelty in the field.

This is a video, which Gabby Mihova and I have made for Biology class Pls, don't hate peace
Nice attempt. The short circuit current is pretty low. Why you are using a two-metal electrode system, I think for such an area just using sheets or nylon and Teflon, and sliding them will give you more current. You don't even need nylon, you can use a piece of paper too.
Which motor you have used here? And how it is controlled?
nema17 motor with a uStepper driver
@@todorovjr what is the maximum speed that can be obtained with this motor controller setup sir?
No joke but if you turn it to 75% speed it's much more intelligible. Interesting video
I’m a little confused when I watch the video. Did you say it generates 120v?
The cells are in series, so the voltages across all of them add up. I guess it's the equivalent of lining up ~80 1.5V batteries in series and measuring the DC voltage they produce?
Yes: considering the enormous resistance of the TENG (basically a dielectric) such values are commonly seen within the literature
Good effort man (y)
Sheeeesh
Great video! You helped me a lot!!!
