I detest these videos. What is the point of makeup if not to make the wearer feel good about their appearance? Furthermore, everyone has good days and bad days, with or without makeup. To compare photos from unknown time periods, and an unknown number of days, months, years between them, is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that some photos are from red carpet events like the Academy Awards, and others were taken as the subject was coming out of the gym. Talk about apples and oranges! Having said all of the above, what truly bothers meme is the most about these kind of videos is that the only real purpose for them, as far as I can tell, is to send the message that these people ( mostly women, of course) are naturally really unattractive without wearing piles of makeup done by a professional makeup artist. And that message is bullshit.
