Back in the day, I called decks like these "Stall decks". Burn effects weren't as effective as they are now (because players now easily play 20 cards in a single turn), so you had to inflict chip damage. To sustain yourself, you had to block the enemy from playing so you could outlast them. It wasn't a perfect strategy by any means, but it was fun to watch the frustration on people playing against such decks.

How does this deck play against tier 0 decks like Labryinth and Kashitra? Those are the most annoying decks to deal with for me.

I find that gravity bind doesn’t work for me in almost any duel. Lots of monsters arnt affected by it.

been using this in a slow burn/tax deck (not as good as the Despia one). i've noticed that with certain cards that activate in hand before being put down, it can activate twice, so with that setup they'd be paying 3000 to play a single card

Why didn't you activate Red Nova Dragons effect right when he was activating Jowgen the Spiritualist destroy all special summoned monsters on the field you could of negated that effect and banished all their cards too right?

Interesting. You have to pay 600 to activate effects, but if you can't pay, you can't activate the effect, but Timelord's "Cannot be destroyed in battle" is not an effect (since it doesn't activate), meaning short of some sort of monster removal, you could just sit it out for the entire duel?

I was so confused when you didn't set your 2nd fossil dyna. It would have taken care of their monster, you had feather duster for their back row, and play could continue. Then I realized you had them stuck and wanted to deck them out/waste their time.

The fact he Prohibition'ed Ash on the first turn tells me he's been Ash'ed a lot on that deck.
